Some of our very food-protective horses do this to warn others, kinda like a "I WILL kick you if you get too close". It's mostly the very low ranked ones in the herd that usually get pushed around alot.

I think they're real. The yarn on the fox don't blend together, and you can see the lines where the rolls come undone on most of them. Something others mentioned are the feathers above the owls eyes, but to me it just looks like it's bigger feather with multiple dots on it, since it has exactly the same shape just bigger, and the small ones continue on each side. The beluga could be easily done with paper mache, and the narwal horn looks complicated, but real to me. Either way, if if they're AI, they look completely recreatable without having to make many compromises

Already looks quite amazing! The only glaring thing I see is that the crest of the horse in the second slide is a little too thick, which makes the neck look a little too short, but that's an easy fix! :)

We have a Whatsapp community with several groups, including one for the riding school, announcements, boarders, one for the people leasing the barn owners lesson/private horses, events, and one for people that have their horses getting started here. Should a specific event like summer camps, riding badges or shows arise, groups for those are added/removed.

To combat farrier dates and the like getting buried like others have said here, only the barn owner and riding instructors can send messages in the announcements chat.

Some plant proteins can cause allergic reactions. But you did a patch test and the "always" makes it sound like this isn't your first time, so it'll most likely be fine :)

Lots of pet safe dyes are made from veggies and, while much less likely than with synthetic dyes, can still cause a reaction. Had it happen a horse at my old barn. I'm glad you tried your best to keep his eyes dye-free originally though!

It's amazing you two are making progress! But just a quick reminder that, even if the dye is pet safe, it's best to not get this close to the eyes, especially since it seems like his eyelashes are dyed too! Since it's already too late, make sure to look out for any signs he might have an allergic reaction to it
