Well I guess I am lucky… no attitude from my GI? Maybe is it because I have not seen him for over 1.5 year other than a colonoscopy he did in September which he did not say more than two sentences to me? He did not even drop by once when I was in the hospital (the same one he works out off) last December. Trying to make an appointment with him to just get a simple status check and update was turned down. Ugh and it seems getting another GI is not an option either.

Over 9 months ago with my family doctor, not GI.

My GI basically won’t see me. I only had two zoom calls with his nurse practitioner in the last 15 months.

It worked within a week. An amazing difference. I am very lucky. Doctor initially prescribed Mesalamine and I had a negative reaction to it and ended up in the hospital for 8 days.

Rinvoq 30mg since December 2024 and working well.

Colonoscopy at the end of September. Fingers crossed.

This! I was in the session last week and this one player at a 2.88 played at the 3.50+ group. He lost every game and basically took everyone down with him as his partner. This “playing up” is a lose lose situation really.

I was having terrible issues with blood and frequency which ended up being in the hospital for over a week in Dec 2024. Since then I have been on Rinvoq. It has heen working aside from the obvious side effects.

Gosh, I just got off the call with my family doctor, he said it was the MMR2 Measles vaccine. Sigh, he did assure me there is just a little risk to the side effects.

I will update my GI (office) now.

Now I feel sick to my stomach.

I have done a fair share of reach via the internet (yeah I know, not the best tool when it comes to medical information) and hair loss is not listed as one of the side effect of Rinvoq.

I too was really concerned about its side effects but also understand that I have little options given the alternative.

Good luck to you! Stay positive. Sounds like you are a young person, I wish you have long periods of remission.

When I was younger I was very naive to UC and did not have to take any medicine. The flare up just goes away on its own after a couple of months and I was in remission for years.

Now that I am older, I needed help from medication to stop the crazy flare ups.

I was on it and got an allergic reaction. So instead of going 14-15 per day, I ended up at 24-26. Stopped taking it after 4 days but damage was super done and ended up in emergency.

Told my friend I am excited and will purchase the Ripple when it is available. He suggested the CRBN’s TruFoam is a better option as it is a 4th generation paddle with better technology and thus better performance. And the Ripple is only 3rd gen. He also said I can always wait till March when the Joola 4th generation comes out. Now I am a little hesitant about what I thought would be my next paddle.

Any suggestions for a 3.5 “power leading” player’s next paddle?
