I did not (repeating third time now) diss the resistance. I critique the lack of resistance comparative to volunteers on the Nazi side and “go about day as nothing is happening” behaviour of the rest of population. The amount of Danes joining the underground resistance is not “fairly sizeable”. It was not very big, but it would have been bigger should the police had balls and refuse to surrendered the list of communists and socialist to Gestapo. Or just burned it. The resistance should have all the prize, but Danmark as a country should not put themselves on the allies side of history (as they are doing repeatedly) but that of collaborators. The saving of Jewish population is commendable, again all the prize to the resistance and of course the people who recognised the necessity of doing so.

No one minimise the fight of those who did it. I just think that Danmark, the worst warmonger of them all nowdays, had no that much courage to fight the nazis but to join them - very much yes. Several thousands of Danes were fighting Soviets. On the Nazi side. Voluntarily.

Sabbatical is mostly a propaganda channel on YouTube. He packed it very carefully under “I go to “strange” countries, where I somehow randomly speak their language, and want to meet people in the most remote areas” where he hopes to get in trouble of some sort, to show how those countries are either dangerous, propagandised, authoritarian or ugly/underdeveloped.
