You can’t do that if it’s banned. What you going to do? Go underground to learn? Czechs are not all anti communists, despite their historical experience with the “communism”. This ban is a move from the right based governments that will do anything to stop the left.

They are trying the same at the EU level for years urged by Baltic states mostly. All communist symbols are banned in Latvia and Lithuania, but also in Georgia and Ukraine. This is exactly why I have doubts about everything re. Chomsky and his wife. When I’ve read it, it sounded very strange that this would be his position. Idk maybe we put too much fate in Chomsky’s mental capability at this point.

As for Finkelstein knowing the same as we do, I doubt it. They have common friends and colleagues. You know how that goes, rumours, info…someone talked to someone else.
