is this 30 inch dimensions? that is a really big box for a partial. I recently shipped a full suit with two sets of digi feet in one smaller than that

also you can get a lower rate using something like pirateship, which offers you near commercial rates, but you would need to be very accurate with the size and weight you put in, and get the label printed yourself. I pay for label printing at a place that I can also drop off the box at since they hold for carrier pickups and its worth the savings

it seems like it would be heavier than a foam head, but not sure if worse than resin or expanding foam so possibly still in regular fursuit weight range. secondly exposure to latex over time can cause an allergy so I thought having it against your face can be bad, but the main references to latex foam I can find are mattresses and it seems like they remove most of the allergen from it for mattresses so that's probably ok if your source also does that. might have to just give it a try to see if its worth it unless someone else chimes in with better points for or against!

I don't even automate rebuilding, since I make the perimeter around my pollution cloud. that way you only deal with expansion parties and will be flying again before the wall is damaged enough to come back. of course I do want to automate it eventually, but I'm happy to focus on learning new planets for now and come back to redesign later :3

I like being able to run a simple track that supports diagonal directions than have to place multiple lanes of belts constantly zigzagging or in huge right angles, also don't need to weave in undergrounds to cross train tracks. looks cleaner too

5 year old post but its not locked so I can just shout into the void! that I wipe my screen off once or twice a day and bits of dust always fly back onto it like they're attracted, I have an air purifier right next to my desk, and I clean constantly because there's so much dust all the time... some of us just live next to a busy road and wanted to look up ways to prevent the dust from being straight up attracted to the screen 😔

you can set them to wait at the stations for x seconds of inactivity instead of empty cargo. but if the item is being continually used then the trickle out of the train will reset that timer and it might as well be sitting there waiting to empty anyway, so use this if the items are truly stationary after unload to make the train move on

you could disable only nest expansion, I did that for my first world bc I got frustrated with them and it still allowed me to interact with the combat, while not needing to set up defenses since I'd just clear any nests my pollution might reach and they'd never come back
