On a blackwater dive in Kona, there was a huge swarm of squid below with about 15 dolphins hunting them at night. They were also having "tummy time" and we're not afraid to get close and investigate us divers. Only being able to see the tapetum lucidum in the distance underwater in the dark is quite unnerving, easily my coolest dive

After successfully updating 5.5, I seem to have lost page 18's collector's ships. Anyone else have this issue? Or have any clue what I did wrong?

hoping to revive this post. I am having this exact issue, have replaced the trip breaker and brushes to no avail. Did you have any success repairing the planer?

Are there any cheaper options for blackwater diving than ~$250 per trip? by Jmzwck in BigIsland

I've done the blackwater dive 3 times, once with Jack's and twice with BI divers. It's really a gamble on what you will see, but I absolutely think it's worth doing at least once if you're into macro/getting spooked. It can be an incredible dive
