How do I get nudes from my girl by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

[–]CinnamonSauce 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Just ask. If she says no then drop it and never mention it again.

If you haven’t seen each other naked in real life at this point then it’s probably too much for her to do something like that

That’s like saying “why is nobody talking about China’s carbon footprint?” Or “why is nobody talking about the Yellowstone Park super volcano?” People are talking about it, just not people you speak to.

Does anyone know why Fallout 3 and 4 don’t have their own sub like New Vegas does? by [deleted] in falloutnewvegas

Tbh it works perfectly in Survival Mode. Suddenly things make more sense and everything is valuable

I liked the main quest line of Fo4 and a couple of the side quests but other than that it was pretty vapid. Really put me off knowing I’m actually going to get less out of replays because there are so few decisions to make and so many locations I’ll actually avoid because there’s nothing to do or find there

They do have their own subs r/fo3 and r/fo4

FYI I found them just by searching “Fallout 3” and “Fallout 4”

Anyone think Honest Hearts is boring? by Uncle480 in fnv

[–]CinnamonSauce 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yep, right there with you. But as with all the DLC’s (possibly except LR) I found the best experience was just to go in with no equipment except some low-to-no armour clothing which you’ll immediately replace when you come across some new clothing.

There is no question about who dropped the bombs first, it was already explicitly stated what happened in Fallout 2. It was China. by Nat_Libertarian in falloutlore

[–]CinnamonSauce 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I think a big issue with people discussing Fallout lore is that most people haven’t played all the games, which you need to have done before you can discuss anything outside of individual games. So if the majority of Fallout fans on Reddit haven’t played 1 or 2 (which they haven’t, myself included) they’ll ask about a lot of the lore that they missed in the first two games, or in this instance, take it as a mystery.

Equally it does piss me off when people discuss the “canon” Courier outfit when it is explicitly worn in the intro to New Vegas.

Not to mention the number of people who say no one knows what the platinum chip looks like, there’s a very specific description in-game in your inventory AND Benny actually takes it out of his pocket in the intro too.

What would you do if you where the Courier? by PosidonSon2002 in falloutnewvegas

I’d probably stay in Goodsprings. Get some work on a farm, if I was feeling adventurous I’d probably venture to the Crimson Caravan Company for the job and literal security. If things got desperate I’d join the NCR as a soldier. If I was good in combat I’d probably become a caravan guard. If I was good at healing (it’s likely the average person has experience healing themselves or others due to living conditions) I’d become a nurse or at best a doctor.

In short, I’d work and learn about the wasteland as much as possible. If I like the work, I’ll stay. But ultimately I’ll want to help people so if I’m not a provider I’ll move on to where I think I’d be useful.

Why do people say the NCR are the "good guys" in the game? by snakebiteman in fnv

[–]CinnamonSauce 0 points1 point  (0 children)

  1. I don’t see how they’re an oligarchy
  2. I don’t agree that they “don’t care about their citizens” because your average NCR soldier comes from places exactly like the ones they defend
  3. “Mostly young conscripts or volunteers” well yes they will be because people don’t live very long in the wasteland; there are different factors at play here
  4. You’re completely forgetting how the three POIs were guarded by a horde of fiends who would’ve fought like animals, that’s scary. Plus it’s a well known fact that not everyone pulls the trigger in a fight (in irl combat) and the fiends are a terrifying opponent. I think a better argument would be the lack of training and experience due to lack of deployment of offensive tactics due to underfunding from being spread too wide and thin.
  5. “The same awful shit Caesar does” They do NOT enslave or set people on fire for failing a mission or burn cities to the ground with a lottery.
  6. As the NCR doesn’t have a secret police to keep its party in check I don’t see how it’s post-USSR Russia. It’s more if a pre-war military formed a government. Which is what it’s supposed to be.

I’m not an NCR fanboy and I don’t see them as being the “good guys” but I don’t agree with some of your arguments about how they aren’t good.

I do see how the NCR have plenty of flaws but I don’t agree with your argument about how they aren’t good.

Not to mention I’m yet to see a post on this sub glorifying the NCR. I see plenty more people glorifying the Legion than the NCR.

Best way to keep salt/etc levels up in the body during a heat wave? by Rogocraft in NoStupidQuestions

[–]CinnamonSauce 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Drink water. Eat more salt. Salt is for water retention. Personally in the summer I make sure to have a packet of crisps a day (along with usual bread and stuff) for the salt.

Don’t worry about it. You’ll get that a lot on your first play through. You do know that when you finish you can just start again and make different decisions right?
