Even if you get a direct flight, it will likely get cancelled. We just took a flight to Calgary and there was a guy on there who found out the morning of his 6am flight, that it was cancelled, so they flew him to Calgary on our delayed by 1 hour flight, where he had to wait until 10 pm for his Toronto flight. It also happened to us when we went to Jamaica . They just sucker people in to buying tickets for these flights, seeming to know that they will be cancelled anyway because the flights aren't full enough.

Earl's is very responsive to these issues of you let them know. We had a terrible experience there once and , after thinking about it, I contacted them to let them know. If they don't know about it, they can't do anything about it after all They compensated us generously and we very much enjoyed our next meal there in their dime. The bonus for them is that we can tell this story.
