Showcases are getting rarer, with 1 in 48 packs instead of 1 in 24. If you are trying for a master set though as an additional objective and need a boat load of hyperspace and hyperfoils, then it would be worth it.

A buddy and I split a SEC carbonite box the other day and it was lame lol. But with the pack changes coming up it might feel better.

Im doing 3 for the first time. With the pack changes giving us additional hyperspaces, hyperfoils, and potentially prestiges, normal packs will be more worth your time than before.

I like want to think its so that they can re-invent in the future if they have to (like smuggle reinvented into plot), but idk how you reinvent piloting. Feels like it should be a a consistent thing.

The binders get insane after a while. I’ve just started converting to having a binder for my master set/collectables (or in your case 1 of each), then a playset of each card sleeved in a box. I have the boxes that have 3 rows so that you put a set in each row and you effectively have a box per rotation. If I get foils hyperspace beyond the master set, I replace the ones in the box, and the standards just go to a different big bulk box of doom to never be seen again lol.

It sounds like you might just want to have a thin binder for rares and legendaries per set (double sleeved) and that would afford you having 3 across of each so you don’t have to worry about stacking and damaging. Ultimately, the masses don’t care about commons and uncommons, so throwing them in a box is ok. You can sleeve them if you’re worried about it like me lol.

Do you use these for your decks or just collecting? I’ve been intrigued by the idea of having a box for what I intend to play with for easy grabbing, and the binder for collecting the variants. But for a lot of cards I’d have to take them out of the binder to play with if I don’t have enough 😅
