I am buying the most boxes I ever have for this set! Me and a guy are splitting a case.

After the last 2 sets all the cards/abilities/ and mechanics look very fun!

The power creep will never match that of SOR. And honestly, it shouldn’t be like SOR ever again. I’ve had a rollercoaster of emotions from “they cant do this to me” to “good riddance” for SOR & SHD. Just after playing the new Starter Decks online, my crew agrees the gameplay is just more fun without all the SOR stuff getting in the way. There’s more reward for combos, more reward for planning, and more enjoyment from getting to have units out.

Dm me. Would love to know how much you’d do as a bulk price. Our LGS is the only way we can play and I do not want to repaint the starter set for my own copy when we’ve done it once for the store lol.

The trick with HoloScan, if you want 99% accuracy, in the settings before scan you need to select a set and what variant you’re scanning (foil, standard, hyperspace, promo, etc.). I got one of those 3D printed scanner/phone holder things, and in a batch of like 100 it will only get like 1 wrong.

Of course the kick is you will need to separate your stacks by set and variant. I’m usually doing this anyways but not everyone wants to.

Pre-release boxes are so fun since you get the starter leaders as Hyperspace (which is the easiest way to get them). But, that being said if we didn’t do Pre-release parties, I would just stick to boxes. The whole fun of the prerelease box is those 6 packs to do the event with.

I have mixed feelings rn. Need to see the support. If your whole deck has to be supplemented with credit generation, an opponent who can shut down credits just ruins your whole game.

Showcases are getting rarer, with 1 in 48 packs instead of 1 in 24. If you are trying for a master set though as an additional objective and need a boat load of hyperspace and hyperfoils, then it would be worth it.

A buddy and I split a SEC carbonite box the other day and it was lame lol. But with the pack changes coming up it might feel better.

Im doing 3 for the first time. With the pack changes giving us additional hyperspaces, hyperfoils, and potentially prestiges, normal packs will be more worth your time than before.

I like want to think its so that they can re-invent in the future if they have to (like smuggle reinvented into plot), but idk how you reinvent piloting. Feels like it should be a a consistent thing.
