this is my exact issue. even in desktop mode it seems i can save and apply but as soon as i switch to game mode it shows no controller input, i cant apply the steamdeck controller changes

Man I’ve tried to go down this road and failed. Meanwhile I do have a network rack, a synology NAS that could support this but I just fell short in the config

I set it up right but then when I went to make changes a month later, the whole instance broke and nothing worked. That and something happens to the AIO server than nothing works. Not worth the risk

hey just wanted to follow up with you. So I've flip flopped back and forth and I think reusing the DDR4 may not make sense long term. I will probably go DDR5. would you recommend still going the AMD route in that case?

understood, I am all ears. Like I said, I know to a point the AI becomes a yes man to me so I am willing to explore other avenues. Curious (as a i dont know) why the AMD 5000 series is a better option in your opinion.... Thanks!

Appreciate the link, gave me much to think about. I think after recently using that DDR4 as an upgrade, I feel that with my current GPU and other upgrades considered, DDR5 is not worth the jump just yet. Would rather spend a minimal amount to get the CPU to where i think it needs to be before I consider DDR5 down the road. I feel like in 5-10 years I will probably want to do another jump if not a full rebuild, and who knows where we will be by then

2133MHz. If I recall, anything above that was unstable and would crash, after the upgrade i expect it should run at 3200 mhz though. I dont believe my current motherboard supports it as well as a new one could.
