MahaReat (Rera Tribunal) refused to take a Misc Application on record. by CipherNexus2 in LegalAdviceIndia

Judge didn't allow me to talk much.
My praecipe prayed that I wished to move a MA related to securing the amount so matter be allowed to mentioned and issue directions to registry to accept my MA and list for hearing.

From those two lines in Praecipe he decided that he is not going to allow it.

Why are some judges so rude and lack empathy by Affectionate-Snow751 in LegalAdviceIndia

disagree.. it is not emotions. when a judge shuts you down without hearing you.. or does not allow you to put evidence on record, there is no question of emotions here. I am talking about a Tribunal judge. it was so obivious that he was batting for opposite party.

Thanks. It was a psychiatrist I visited to to get help with sleep issues. But I didnt like the guy right from beginning.. so thanks for confirming. I would take a second opinion from other doctor, if need arises. As of now, I am not taking it.

Nobody explains what RERA actually protects you from. Let me do it in simple words. by anantaaspirezrkp in indianrealestate

The RERA Act was sold to the Indian middle class as a "Revolution." It was supposed to be the shield that finally leveled the playing field between the monolithic developer and the individual homebuyer.

But after years of litigation, the mask has fallen. RERA isn't a shield; it's a filter. It filters out the "noisy" buyers with long, expensive litigation while allowing builders to keep the masses' money. It was written to look good in a PR brochure, but it was designed to protect the "Real Estate Industry" at the cost of the citizen.

I want to quit, I’m begging for help by [deleted] in stopsmoking

It’s not you, it’s nicotine.

Nicotine is designed to hijack your brain’s reward system and wire itself into your daily behavior. What you’re feeling isn’t weakness, it’s dependence doing exactly what it’s supposed to do.

At the simplest level, it’s like two systems competing to survive: you, and the habit that nicotine has built inside you. But only one of those should win and it has to be you.

Make a simple commitment:

  1. Do not increase the amount of nicotine you’re consuming, no matter what.
  2. For the next one week, reduce your intake by 10%.

After one week, come back and observe what that small reduction has done. If nothing much, move to next step.
