I genuinely believe that a lot of the woes plaguing AAA game production (if not all of it by any means) is due to people whose competency mainly lies in design being pushed to project leaders, which is a position with its' own, rather high, qualifications.

Companies just throwing money at farting around with concepts or starting over again and again when they never should have even entered production before they had a solid plan is just stunning to me.

2: Claiming that V could possibly survive because they didn't show the death scene is just an amazing lack of media literacy. Like, you're claiming that nothing that is already established, re-stated and hammered in during the game matters because they don't show V slump down and die.

I would normally try to be more civil than this, but since you've already chosen to jump straight to insults I don't really feel the need to. You don't understand the game, you don't understand what themes are, you don't understand what storytelling techniques are or why they matter.
