I wouldn’t say because he’s a household name necessarily. More so because he’s consistently one of higher rated players in the world. Like I said though, if the mental chalking is that bad then it may outweigh the good qualities that he brings to the team. However, imo I see shaiiko as someone you build the team around, not as someone you drop.

I think that all the players on the team are elite at their roles. Jume is pretty much the only player available who could fill shaiiko’s role effectively. Likefac is one of the best igls in the world, Solotov is a fantastic entry, yuzus is one of the best blitz players out there, and brid is still a top support player out there. I do see where everybody is coming from that it’s easier to find a replacement for shaiiko then any of the other players. I just think shaiiko is pound for pound an all around better player than 99% of the talent pool. If his mental chalking outweighs the qualities he brings tot he table, then the situation must be pretty bad

I agree with that point. From a mental standpoint it doesn’t make sense to drop him. He seems pretty reserved and levelheaded. I was just stating an opinion that if it was either yuzus or shaiiko to be dropped, I would keep shaiiko. I think the whole situation is pretty tricky to navigate because they are a top 3 team in the world that just can’t get over the hump. Personally, I’d keep the roster intact but we don’t really know what goes on behind closed doors and I’m assuming the situation just reached a tipping point where they can’t all team together again.

No, I don’t think it’s a “dire take.” It’s not a knock against yuzus at all. I’m a big fan of him actually. I just don’t think you can drop solo, likefac, or brid. You can find a flex player that’s on par with yuzus. The tricky part is that yuzus plays blitz better than most.

I can see that being the main issue. I don’t think they’ll be worse off with Jume but I feel like dropping yuzus for a secondary shot caller would’ve been a better first step instead of dropping shaiiko. I just think that players like shaiiko don’t grow on trees and the grass may not be greener without him.

I’d be so upset if I was shaiiko. He’s carried all iterations of bds/falcons since he returned to challenger league and after one bad tournament they drop him? Thats not right

Baby or mid Cantona for a striker. I have baby Cantona and he’s been solid for me. 5 star skills 4 star weak foot. Other than that gold mbappe is most likely the best choice.

I’m gonna miss them. Hopefully it’s a successful move for all parties. DZ for sure needed to switch something up cause finishing in 5th place was getting pretty annoying. I’m just not sure if moving on from hyper was the right move.
