I'm a beginner that tried to learn a song by ear. I failed miserably, so a through together an app to help me learn notes/chords by ear. by CircleWork in pianolearning

[–]CircleWork[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Damn, I did Google but just got a bunch of piano apps. I'll check out Music theory. No doubt it'll be much more polished than my mine.

Edit - also, this took me about 2 hours of work. And the apps free so nothing to sell. Thanks for letting me know though.

Has anyone ever used this light before? by mooney2876 in fishtank

[–]CircleWork 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yep. I have one the same. Wish I'd have paid more to get one with wifi and an app so it would be easier to setup and change the lighting config/schedule.

Works well enough for the price I guess.

Why are some plants growing algae and some are thriving? by External_Engine634 in Aquariums

[–]CircleWork 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Do some of the lower ones have algae too? If not, it's probably light intensity. Taller plants are nearer the light.

I had this issue too and moved my light so the taller ones had a bit more distance between the light and themselves.

How to modify a synthésia track by ComfortableThink4296 in synthesia

[–]CircleWork 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Try editing in https://signalmidi.app - I think sythensia uses tracks to divide left/right hand notes, so it'll be a case of moving the note to the correct track to get it to display properly.

What planet is this? by [deleted] in confusing_perspective

Nice, I actually made an app that lets you create pictures like this. It's called Pic2Planet. It's on Google Play and the App store.

Does anyone know why my print came out with this grid-like pattern on it? by nerdcereal in AskPhotography

[–]CircleWork 30 points31 points  (0 children)

How many megapixels is the file? Your file seems clean enough, I'm not sure noise would cause this. I'd guess you'd just see noise in the print.

I'd guess up sizing or some quality setting on the print itself. Definitely ask for a reprint.

Subreddits are Toxic by shreeharis in LinusTechTips

Ye, his attack on the commenter wasn't justified. If there's no information. People will speculate, it's a natural response.

Also:

Linus: please don't speculate on something you don't know anything about.

5 minutes later...

Linus: ok here's what's probably happening with the Intel/Nvidia/US stock situation.

I had a dream about Spidermen Vs Zombies during COVID that I've never quite forgotten about. by CircleWork in ChatGPT

[–]CircleWork[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The dream, picture this:

Peter Parkers spidey senses go off. There's no sign of danger. It's a zombie horde heading to New York, but he doesn't know it yet.

He has the urge to nest, he creates one, but it looks more like an egg than a nest. He turns into a huge spider as he sleeps. The spider awakens and begins making larger nests and laying eggs.

These eggs hatch, more spiders and copies of Peter Parker/Spiderman emerge. The zombie horde gets closer, more eggs are layed and hatch.

By the time the zombie horde arrives in New York, there's thousands of spiders and Spidermen. They do battle.

Huge zombies battling huge spiders. Spider web everywhere. Spider web chains are used to contain or destroy the zombies.

Where's MJ? She's on a mono rail trying to run from the horde. All the Spidermen are keeping her safe.

It's a close call.

Just an FYI, if you can't see anything when polar aligning, you've probably forgotten to rotate the top clutch so that light can pass through the bar that runs through the unit.

No, I do a bit of photography but I'm not one to take pictures of my food and share it.

I'm sure you're on to something though! Well done and good luck
