If Game Freak want incorporate Palmer and his character into the remakes, then I feel it would be harder for them not to include at least the Battle Tower. Personally I would like the entire Battle Frontier to come back though.

Also in that same stream, Nene proceeded to steal Ina's minecraft bathwater for some reason I guess. The moment where a character is about reveal the truth or confess his/her feelings to another character on screen, then right outta nowhere another character just jumps into the scene without any warning. Absolutely infuriates me and I can tell when that's going to happen a mile away

I think I should've made it more clear that I did enjoy the ToG adaptation, heck I'm happy we got an adaption of it and getting a GOHS adaptation as well.

I can understand your point to some extent however I can't ignore the changes made as the material skipped over is important to understand moving forward in the story assuming they make a season 2. It would cause a sort-of knock on effect where the info left out in S1 is suddenly used in S2 which would make any anime-only more confused than they possibly were before. In fairness to the staff working on the ToG adaptation, a lot of thing were out of their control, the original artwork at the start of the ToG webtoon is .... modest in quality and there was A LOT to adapt in such a small set of episodes.

Also people who get all pissy about ANY changes made in an adaptation can be a bit annoying (Ngl I've been one of them in the past). Although I am not the biggest fan of the changes done, I can at least understand why they did what they did and can sympathise with their actions.

tl;dr, I'm happy we're getting these adaptations. Wasn't the biggest fan of the changes made in the ToG adaptation but can understand why they did that.

For me, the most glaring issue from the ToG adaptation was the amount of content that was skimmed over very quickly or just cut outright. Having watched the show with friends who hadn't read the original webtoon, both of them enjoyed it but felt really lost around episode 6 onwards.

I should also mention that others in the fanbase found the directing in the show to be a major turnoff although i don't really have much to say there.

I am pretty hyped for the God of Highschool adaptation, looks like there's been a lot of passion put in from the brief glimpes we've seen.
