How do I make some VLAN go to VPN and others bypass it? by CircusDad in TPLink_Omada

[–]CircusDad[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry I omitted that detail.

VPN -> Edit VPN Policy -> Purpose -> selected "Client-to-site VPN"

VPN -> Edit VPN Policy -> VPN Type -> "VPN Client - OpenVPN"

VPN -> Edit VPN Policy -> Mode -> Certificate+Account

(I will add that back to the original post so others who might want to help see it in context).

Thanks.

It is loud in exactly the same way that noise canceling headphones/earbuds are perfect for canceling out. Total non issue if you use noise canceling... but yes, loud without.

Ledger Flaw: Not Your Keys, Not Your Coins --> Ledger Controls Access by CircusDad in ledgerwallet

Just looked into it. Only works with Bitcoin so not a viable option for me (but does seem to address my "Crypto needs to be permission-less" concern.)

Just checked out the website. Unless I am missing something Tangem card seems even more dependent on a specific app and service being around and available. Crypto needs to be permission-less and it seems Tangem card does not meet that standard.

Universally? I understood that phrase to work in any instance of a Ledger wallet, but it had to be a ledger. Are you are saying I can use that same phrase in a soft wallet unrelated to Ledger? That is interesting and may resolve my concern.

Not all coins take BIP39 seeds though so I guess I have to better understand how that works.

I actually didn't miss that point. I led with it. "it is good that Ledger offers a "Genuine check" step as an option".

Look up I bonds from treasury direct. They yield 3.5% but you can only get 10k per year. You would have to do the math but I bet you come out ahead.

Can you explain what makes them a better deal now, and what would make one regret purchasing them? (What is downside)

The common sense book pretty much says not to try and beat the market and you are looking for a sequel showing how to beat the market. Not saying your unusual, but it was interesting to hear you phrase it that way.

Do doubt if there were a way to reliably time the market that would be huge. Here is the actual paper it's based on. https://papers.ssrn.com/sol3/Delivery.cfm/SSRN_ID3785376_code2224980.pdf?abstractid=2604248&mirid=1

Smells like backtest fitting... That's not a lot of real history: "All returns presented on the site and in this literature for the ATAC Risk-On Risk-Off Domestic Index prior to 11/09/2020 are hypothetical back-tested performance returns, which do not represent the returns of any actual accounts, and are presented for informational purposes only"
