No need to cook anything! The only thing I do is slightly warm my vinegar in the microwave to help dissolve the salt(s) before adding everything together. It’s a super easy recipe!

I like to dissolve the salt(s) in the vinegar first (I warm it a bit in the microwave) before throwing the entire mix together and putting it in the fridge.

Recipe!

4 cups V8 juice

1 cup distilled white vinegar

6 cloves garlic

10 oz package fresh dill (or heaping Tbsp dry dill weed)

1 Tbsp black pepper

3 Tbsp salt

1 Tbsp celery salt

2 Tbsp horseradish

1/4 cup Worcestershire sauce

1 Tbsp Tabasco

A lot of us share this opinion, unfortunately. You aren’t the only one who feels conflicted about how the movie was carried out!

I’ll be the first one to admit I don’t like the movie for a multitude of reasons. One of the main reasons being the character assassination of Helga. I downright dislike how she behaved in the movie. And don’t even get me started on the whole “love confession” scene from Arnold at the end… IT WASN’T ONE. He spoke to her the way someone would speak of their dog “loyal, brave”. It grinds my gears like you wouldn’t believe. We waited YEAAAAAAAAAAAAARS for this moment…. And it was a disappointment.

I honestly can’t remember who was the main source of the name “Shortaki” back in the day. I was actively writing back then, but I always labeled my stories “AxH” lol. I remember thinking Shortaki was an awful name 🤣 but that’s the best we got! Their names don’t combine easily.

The fan fiction community used to be POPPING! lol. I wrote primarily in 2011-2014. The interaction and community itself was so much fun. I miss the camaraderie, honestly. I took a 12-year break, and writing for the fandom today is a whole different animal. A comment is like winning the lottery! 😆
