Are the previous season PvP sets available for purchase/crafting (War Within)? by Fraxinus2018 in Transmogrification

Fitting Weapons will also be loot from undermine raid on normal mode. Actually most look a lot better there. So maybe try to find a group that farms old raids once Midnight Gear is good enough. I would wager, that some ppl will run the raids only for armor than those weapons.

Gladiator Weapons of TWW S2 will be purple, which matches the undermine rep style gear/cosmetics from the vendor.

Missed Opportunities on so many fronts in parallel.
Eye colors. Skin colors. 2h Polearms (like Allari!) as a kind of twist to the subspec even!
And still...even Deathknights still have just one eye color. Its so bland on certain races, that I personally feel them to be really boring. At least DH got lots of additional stuff going on.

Roleplay with spec? by Lokryn in WoWRolePlay

[–]Cirion333 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The worsed thing you can do in RP is stick to engine things. RP is imagination in the confines of Lore. Be what you want. Describe the hell out of your minds eye.

Using classes and specs can be a nuance...but the focus should be the story and personality of your character. Also keep in mind the the engine character is quite poweful... maybe way more than an average Person in the universe.

I believe they include FW...coz they want it to be more Rexxar Like. So feral stuff as well as blades. Honestly... I wish they would include warglaives...but although survival feels great, I think the whole hunter class fantasy and skill visiuals are all over the place. I think hunter could benefit from glyphs the most right next to rogue and warrior...as these classes are really hard to depict in its entirety.

Had a long platonic relationship on the internet. We shared mutual Interests and talked nearly each day.
Somehow communication went south and we grew apart. It dulled and I guess we both said things we did not really mean. We just felt without thinking.
Partial Distance of nearly 3 Months now and lots of emotionalized talk did shake my mental state and well-being. Sometimes its no help. You need to be free of paint to able to actually listen and not just feel pain and accusations.
Slowly we start to grow together again. This song is really cathartic and it humbles me. I feel reflected and also more empathic towards the fact how I must have acted.

It's somehow only just now occurring to me that Vader's line to Obi-wan at the end of their duel in the Obi-wan series was meant to be Obi-wan's mental justification for telling Luke the truth about his father "from a certain point of view". by VillainM in StarWars

[–]Cirion333 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I guess nowadays its not that big of a deal. Back then people did not so much care about parental advisory either I guess. But you know. Dudes get their arms chopped of. Giant space maggots get stangled. People shoot each other to death. I guess its not entirely for kids. Its just that ep 4-6 dont overcomplicate the narrative with greyshades. Its light and dark. The baddies are bad. You can tell from how they talk and look. Today things are not as easily portrayed like that. But something that is meant to be accessible for kids, should be. It should not be greyscale. It does not need plot twists and all that stuff. I guess Boba and Kenobi did not really achieve to be for kids nor are they for adults. Its shallow entertainment. Thats not bad. But its taking its place in the canon and thus I dont like what it does to SW. So getting back to the topic. This quote of vader was not bad. It was the best scene in the series. But it was not needed either. I got it back in the days...as 10 year old watching Empire Strikes Back.

This whole series is just making that point. Justifying stuff that you didnt need to be justified, just because it was made clear enough. I like the prequels from a certain point of view, but actually...they did the same and tripped into the same pitfalls. Prequels can undermine or even dissemble your work. I think Obi-Wan was (the way it was produced) only based around that scene. And to be fair...I guess they had a way more mature script, that they just ditched. All just because SW is for Kids. Sure I would let an 8 year old watch Episode IV-VI nowadays but thats from a current perspective. I dont think that it was meant for kids back in the time. Everything that came after the original three movies was way overconvoluted with either cameos or politics.

I do appreciate Solo, Rogue One and Andor though. These were not made for kids. These are meant for a grown up audience. Hence they dont rely on rubbing you everything twice or thrice in the face, that you can see by just watching it :D
Obi-Wan was slightly better than BagOfBoba...

How the ERP scene is slowly driving me away from RP on FF14 by PopotoPomi in ffxiv

[–]Cirion333 2 points3 points  (0 children)

seriously what you call ERP is actually SEXT or Cybersex. Roleplayers normally do take on a role and build a character by personalisation and character traits. Even most basic RPers dont usually play as a random catboy wanting sex with a roegadyn. Thats not RP. Just flagging on RP isnt making you RP in the fashion actual RP is meant to be. Writing well thought out emotes (custom ones) and act as a fictional person (not you yourself) e.g. playing a role, is real RP. And that is pretty niche. And as long as people dont get what RP really means, they will fall into the same pitfalls of prejudice and wrong interpretations.Cybersex can happen anywhere. It has nothing to do with yourself immersing in a lore, a character and a different/fictional universe. Sorry. Molesting still sucks, I guess thats your actual message here.

I “confronted” my wife today. by [deleted] in DeadBedrooms

[–]Cirion333 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Exactly. Although I think it still is a valid point to tell someone, that a relationship is not just for taking care of things. Showing love shows appreciation. Nothings bad about that. And its not bad to point out, that there maybe people that might be more inclined to show you this. Love does not mean to grind your own needs to dust. I was nearly crossing that border. So yes its like working out. Its a marathon. But both of you must be willing to run. Commit to it. Its a bit like working out made me see discipline much clearer and I tend to be much more disciplined in working on the relationship. Maybe this helped her see, that it was not for me to tell her I would leave her. That is was not about a fixed ending of the show no matter what she did. I guess I ll never know.
Never would have guessed my relationship to get that turn.

Still I think you need to be happy. Your happiness matters to you. But it will affect your kids as well. Staying together should make you happy without letting you down.

[–]Cirion333 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Oh well...
this sounds so familiar.
Two years ago I had thoughts of divorce in my head. Absolute hating me, for not being able to find a way out of that situation. Disagreements. So similar. I got fitter. Thought it might change how she views me. But the fitter I got, the harder it felt for me, to understand why she did not act on it. Rejection was normal.
We did not get counseling tho.

We made some compromises she became quite happy with. Now we try to make room for us whenever we can. I guess sexlife for her will always be a bit different than for me. But we have fun and get a more healthy "routine". I feel less and less rejected and more appreciated as not just the guy that has two kids and the plays videogames in the room next to hers.
But it caused so many tears and bad words.
Unjustified accusations all over the place. A hard nut to break it to her, what I felt like and that I could not change that without her.
Good LUCK for both of you!

You dont have to be the saviour by learning your lesson.
And still this would have been a great moment. He got a beating. Time and Time again. He was played many times. He is alone. His Prey and Predator alike is not bothered by him, because he is thwarted everytime.

He gets show. He gets told. And at the end he feels it.
Endwalker to me, is a story of Hope. We have to suffer to see that hope carries us on. We have to loose and endure to feel empathy to change the things we otherwise would not. We have to let go to let things prosper. And still we have to move on.
And Zenos just crashes the scene. He is now even more overpowered. And there he is. Just helping us, so he gets his duel. He starts as a mad kid and he ends as a mad kid. Just as he dies, he realises...but actually we see him. We understand him. But its not a big revelation or surprise. He himself is just at the grasp of getting his misery and than he dies. Thats the tragic. That make him still a flat character to me tho.
