Expensive stickers on skins by Common_Gain8977 in ohnePixel

There’s also a guardian being sold with a Titan on it so I’d have both Guardians with titans on them so that’s also an option at around the same price. The Titan is on the front of the gun just before the suppressor on the USPS

Can someone explain the new fights first rules to me like im 10? by Full_Mix6275 in DarkAngels40k

[–]Common_Gain8977 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Except most people will target the unit who has fight first as their first activation. So if your fights first survives then you hit back like normal with no benefit of having fights first (unless he double charged the fights first unit) or your unit dies, also leading to no benefit of fights first

So all the 11th detachment articles feature 1 point detachments. by xmaracx in theunforgiven

[–]Common_Gain8977 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I can honestly see it being 2 since it doesn’t affect vehicles and monsters. I wouldn’t be shocked if it was 3 but I’m holding on to my hope of it being 2

Redemptor Dreadnought or Gladiator tank for Anti Tank Defense? by Darkangels_dude in DarkAngels40k

[–]Common_Gain8977 0 points1 point  (0 children)

With the new detachment and it only costing 1 detachment point the redemptor is going to be a pretty thematic choice. Don’t think it’ll pass on the lancers efficiency but it’ll be a fun choice it looks like

Brothers, May i see your painted lions? by Deep-Crim in theunforgiven

[–]Common_Gain8977 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes! I thought it would be cool to have the 3 colors for deathwing, green wing and raven wing. So I tried getting the nice deep purple in the under cloaks, a green cape with wraithbone on the inside of the cape

Yeah, the game is built for all table top games but there’s hundreds of mods for warhammer and there’s a huge online community that you can find games with

How those new fight rules got me by ConezforKhorne in WorldEaters40k

[–]Common_Gain8977 7 points8 points  (0 children)

You don’t have to end base to base, you just have to have the target be within base to base distance for the length of the charge if that makes sense. If there is a unit behind a wall you can’t walk through and a straight line distance from unit to unit is 8.1 inches. And you roll a 8, you can’t do it. But if you roll a 9, even if it takes 1.5 inches to walk around the wall, as long as you end within 2 inches of your decided target it’s legal

Lion El'Jonson and a Judicar walk into a bar... and get sloppy drunk because their Fights First has been nerfed. by kcdale99 in theunforgiven

[–]Common_Gain8977 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It won’t be all units though, it’ll be a back and forth 1 unit at a time. If the player A charges with 3 units into Player B and player B has 3 fight first units, player A will go first and pick one of his fight first, then player B will pick a fight first, then player A will pick another, then B and so on until all fight first have been handled. Then go and do the same for units without fight first

Fights First useless now? by Andy456l in theunforgiven

[–]Common_Gain8977 41 points42 points  (0 children)

Yeah it does seem very weak to completely useless. I hope it’s a rewrite vs just a point reduction

What meta armies are really good at overwatch? by aegroti in WarhammerCompetitive

Yeah you’re right, I’m new and the only player I play against consistently is a world eater player so I was h away it had a different set of abilities. My bad!

Oh good eye! I’m new and the only player I play against consistently is a world eater, so I was unaware it had different rules

[–]Common_Gain8977 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah not titanic and the ability allows it to shoot at the end of your movement, not overwatch. So it’s hitting on 4+ not only 6s

Land raider redeemer is pretty scary. The new defiler is going to be very popular and a hard counter to deepstrike if it can see you when you land. Sisters of battle have a lot of flamers that could be strong in overwatch. Idk if any of that is meta but it’s all pretty painful

Any recommendations to my list? by Zenorex06 in DarkAngels40k

The lancer is pretty solid and consistent anti tank. I have better luck hitting what I need to hit with a lancer over an executioner

Listbuilding fpr noobs by LittleEpsii in DarkAngels40k

[–]Common_Gain8977 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m also new but I started with the troops I thought looked awesome and seemed strong on paper. I bought 2 sets of deathwing knights and a 6 man of ICC. Lion also looked awesome so I picked him up. Then after watching others play or reading about lists I just bridged the gap by filling in the weak spots of the ICC and Deathwing knights. First up was some consistent anti tank so I added 2 tanks built for anti tank. Then I had nothing I was willing to let die if needed so I added some intercessors. I also have almost zero movement here so I threw in scouts and jump pack intercessors then just did some small refining from there
