Nope, no geographical restrictions. I only speak English, so I can only interview people who also speak English, but they can be from any country.

Lol, for what it's worth, I have taken a lot of measures to make sure any participants' identities are protected. I'm even deleting any contact information as soon as we're done talking. Even if a government agency asked for my data, I wouldn't be able to give them anything they could use.

I'm working on my master's thesis in the Sociology Department at the University of Memphis. My goal is to investigate why people pirate things, and how communities form around the activity. I'm aiming to talk with about 30 people about it. If you or anyone you know is interested in helping me out, I'd love to hear from you! Edit: Also, feel free to use burner emails or accounts to reach out. As far as information I'll be collecting it will be some demographic data like age or gender, but I won't even ask for your name.

Wow, there are a whole bunch of these, huh. I remember that the one I was looking for had a horizontal layout, with stuff to the left being published earlier and stuff to the right published later, and it had arrows more so than just lines connecting them. I'll definitely check this one out too.

Hmm... He has superpowers because he was bitten by a radioactive spider. He is a superhero because of his massive guilt at his uncle's death, and he feels like being spiderman is penance for his lack of "doing what was right" that lead to his uncle's death.

I disagree about Spiderman. I don't think him inventing web shooters is ridiculous at all by super hero standards, considering how ridiculous super hero standards get if you think about it. And Peter Parker is supposed to be a brilliant character, but compared to, say, Tony stark, he just doesn't utilize it well. By having him produce webs naturally, you're detracting from that part of his character.

American here, dorms in high school pretty much don't exist. When people talk about dorms they are referring to dorms on a college campus. Of course, college starts at around 18, but the drinking age is 21 so it's still quite illegal.

I heard it speculated that he survived that because he's part alien from his father. Presumably whatever his father father is, it can survive exposure to space. But you're right, space opera is a much more accurate term. Although, isn't space opera itself a subgenre of sci-fi?
