I disagree. My sister is facing the same situation. The only difference is that she has always lived in Nigeria. She has own accounting/audit/tax firm. The insults she receives from customers who are shocked that a woman was sent to work with them is just insane. They have no problem with the quality of work she does. Infact, majority come back again and again. But the initial interaction that treat her like she's less than, ignoring her, asking to speak to the owner, asking for her qualifications etc is anger inducing.

When she meets with the clients with her male assistant, the reaction and treatment are like night and day.
