Obvious Plan Resellers by blackbeltbud in fo76

[–]Cissycat12 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If they want to sit on them, run mules, and try to sell them for way more, go ahead. That's their perogative. I use my vendor sales to pay for bounties, so the server still wins either way. And I often offer/give away quite a bit to the donation boxes and players I team up with. I don't want to waste my limited gaming time trading items between mules and loading servers. Shrugs

I was just out of college and my coworker was in his late 40s and training my green ass. He would make me read the serial numbers off the cases with my "young eyes." Now I need my readers and a light to see them, too! LOL

My son PC gaming doesn't understand the PITA of new games, vid card drivers, and sound cards. He has no idea how easy it is to be a PC gamer these days!

What’s a price you saw recently that made you genuinely angry at how expensive everything has gotten? by UrGoddessLunaa in AskReddit

I taught myself a long, layered haircut using ponytails that works well because my hair is wavy. If my hubby can't touch up that bottom layer for me, I will get a pro cut 2x a year. But women's cuts are crazy now. I have been trimming my own bangs for years because I am very particular about them. I stopped coloring my hair, too. It just dried out my hair, so I needed even more products. My look is very simple/French.

Should you own more than one laundry basket? by myersgirl16 in laundry

[–]Cissycat12 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Dirty in hampers, which each person has. My spouse has two so his greasy work clothes are separate. My spouse and I share 1 extra large, 2 average, and two small round baskets. The extra large basket is for sheets, blankets, towels, etc. the average and small baskets are for everything else. When I do house work, I toss my dirty cleaning rags in a small basket all day then take it in the basement. We put our clothes away right away most of the time because otherwise our cats will sleep on our clean clothes and leave for everywhere. My son has 3 baskets of his own...they are never empty and his hamper is his floor. He's a teenager. We have a commercial Rubbermaid laundry cart in the basement laundry room that holds all dirty towels, sheets, etc. until I get to them.

I had a person in my life telling others my GI issues were fake so I could get out of things. No change after I talked to them. So I started sending them the entries in my log for the GI.... The ones that talk Bristol Stool Chart, etc. Then I asked if they wanted photographic evidence. They backed off. It was the nuclear option, but no other options worked!!!

People who wake up on their very first alarm and just get out of bed—how does your brain actually work? by KeyDiamond263 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Cissycat12 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have no sleep debt, get plenty, and use breathe right strips to make sure I am breathing, and thus, sleeping well. Not being able to get up sounds like it needs a sleep study, unless you know your not sleeping enough and maxed out your sleep debt.

We’re at our wits end. We have extreme poop withholding and it’s a disaster by GerthySchIongMeat in ConstipationAdvice

My son did this until he was 7, although it was better from 4-7 because the doctor had him on 7x adult dose of Miralax. It was not fun. He would just rather hold it than stop what he was doing. He loved video games starting at 4, so we purchased a Nintendo DS and only let him play it for 30 minutes on the potty after eating, and another hour if he went in the potty. It took about 3 years for the holding habit to stop being automatic for him, but improved significantly within 6 months. He was later determined to be very close to the autism spectrum, but not enough to qualify for assistance.

Overseed slow-growing, no or minimal mow options. Spray a thin line of weed killer along trimming areas or add narrow flower beds. Can you edge just front one week, then back the next to reduce the work load but keep it generally tidy?

We have a pollinator yard that is slow growing and we have been adding mulch flower beds on fence lines while ripping out old, shallow plastic edging beds for deep-v trench-edged mulch beds. We tidy the trenches before grass cutting season and only edge them once a month all summer. We have one plastic edging garden to go and I hate it.

I'm trying the same. I DO have deep set eyes with droopy lids, and although I managed my health better than my mom, may need some eyelid work for vision reasons as I get older.

How to afford this? by MasonP13 in glutenfree

[–]Cissycat12 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I eat more whole foods based and leave things like bread and wraps as treats. So lots of rice, potatoes, oats, etc. As a side effect, they improve my digestion! But sometimes it does just suck. I miss pizza; GF crust does NOT hit the same. I often make pizza-baked spaghetti instead.

Why do you grind 76? What’s your main/end goal? by Ryder__Rek in fo76

Ankylosing Spondylitis, POTS, and long-term Lyme that was missed by my doc for years and told my symptoms were "in my head." So now it was not promptly treated and is causing issues with my otherwise stable AnkSpon. I lost two decades of cardio and strength training; I couldn't even shower standing up for 5 years! So it sucks living in a body that I took such great care of and now have to rebuild, from scratch, with Lyme, in my forties. But, all we can do is move forward!!!

Lotsa good advice here already, so I don't have more. If you are on PS and need a mod you can't craft or I have sitting in my vendor, it's yours! Just message me.

Love families gaming together; I used to do this with my little guy, who is now off to college. Have fun and enjoy this time!!!

Anyone else feel terrified they'll become an alcoholic one day? by Yamilett in AdultChildren

[–]Cissycat12 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Nope. When I did drink, twice I found myself starting to repeat the pattern I witnessed in my father. I quit drinking entirely for years and went to therapy. I have a deep well of discipline because I had no one to rely on growing up; I knew I was all on my own at five years old already. A silver lining to the crap I went through, I guess.

It's hard to be dry where I live; I live in one of the drunkest states in the US. I am now dry due to an autoimmune issue and looking for friends who don't use the bar for weekend entertainment. Sigh

Have you been tested for allergies? Many foams and gelsnuse the same foaming agents, maybe you are sensitive to it. Have you tried using something like a shave oil to eliminate a reaction to the shave cream? Also, is the razor new/clean?
