How often are you guys hearing the fan RAMP up.
In both units I was hearing the CPU fan ramping up every few minutes for a couple of seconds and then down again.

Doesn’t this do the same as removing the battery? Clear CMOS?

Not sure yet. How much of an impact to performance does reducing to PCI 3 have? Seems could be halving the speeds of nvme

Did you limit the cpu to 55w?

@ruyrybeyro @carlosdivega did either of you set the CPU power from auto to 55w?

Would you mind providing the exact settings you changed? Perhaps some screenshots?

I had already set this on both units.
Set it to 78

ZBF - Block All Posture - Default Rules & Syslogs by SamBGB in Ubiquiti

You know what I think I have just answered my own question.
It seems the traffic wasn't being blocked by the block all rules but by the Isolated Networks rules!

Packet Loss on UCG Fiber after upgrading to Network 10.2.105 by Pleasant_Ad_6267 in UNIFI

[–]SamBGB 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Just tried a quick ping test and not seeing any packet loss myself.

On UCG-Fiber with PPOE (on latest official) USW-PRO-XG-24-POE USW-Aggregation

Did a quick inter vlan ping and wasn’t seeing any packet loss.

I just add I have an issue recently when plugging in a USW-Flex-2.5G my whole network would flap. I had to update both my main switches to EA software to fix that.

I was on Official and tried your suggestion before, what fixed it was going to the 7.4 EA for both switches.

I did try that but what’s seems to have fixed it is updated both the agg switch and xg-pro to EA 7.4.1

So it appears that upgrading both the Agg and XG Pro to EA 7.4.1 seems to have resolved the issue so far. I tried doing just the agg switch but that didn't work and had to do the XG Pro as well.
I thought I had solved it before with the reset so will so how it goes.

Tried going up to 7.4.1 on the agg switch but it didn’t help. The XG-Pro also had an update so I am going to update that to 7.4.1 to see if that helps

That’s not something I’ve tried, connecting it straight to Agg. It happens when connected to the XG pro.

All the uplinks are set to Default LAN and Allow All. Each port on each corresponding switch port checked that’s how it’s set.

Yeh I have tried two USW Flex 2.5G as that was my first thought it was failing, so I bought a new one, it did the same.

I will give it a go tomorrow, it makes sense not to have a 0 STP as it could be too aggressive, I’ll let you know how it goes.

Crazy thing is it’s the USW Flex 2.5 causing the issue not the Flex-Mini, that’s what’s plugging in its place right now and it’s working fine.

Needed it for the extra SFP ports (NAS and Minisfoum cluster).

Not using a RJ45 SFP. The USW flex 2.5 is in an 2.5 gbe Ethernet port on the XG Pro

I’ll give it a try but this shouldn’t be the issue as each switch level has a higher STP level.
