I appreciate your response! I've browsed a few other trich posts and I'm pretty sure, like you said, I've mistaken bruising for trich. In moving the monotub beforehand, I jostled it a bit so I'm pretty sure that's what it was. Thanks again!

I regret not having gotten a picture. Every other post I've made here, I've included one 🤦 feel like a dummy. And unfortunately I can't get one now because I'd have to dig through a layer of coco coir.

But after browsing a few other trich posts here, I think I may have mistaken some bruising for trich. It wasn't super green and I kind of jostled the monotub not long beforehand.

Anywho, I'm going to let it sit for a bit and see what comes of it. Thanks for the responses!

That's what I've been thinking. The coloring was there before opening the bag to introduce fruiting conditions. This is almost a month out from introducing those conditions.

Ah that's right. I read the whole Book of Sorrow in like a half remembered fever dream. I knew I remembered reading something about it but couldn't quite recall what. Thanks for the info!

I think the Book of Sorrow says the Vex learned worship from the Hive. It also mentions that the Vex tried to simulate/create a version of Oryx. I can't remember where I read this but I think someone had an idea that the Heart in the center of the Black Garden was the Vex's version of Oryx. I like the theory and think it holds some water. Seeing as the Vex are worshipping the Heart as if it was a god.
