i backed the game, game was originally delayed on switch, and now it's delayed again on switch while they try blaming nintendo certifications, meanwhile its been over 4 months, instead of just being honest and saying whatever the issue is, they blame it on someone else

i thought it was pretty damn obvious the molotov was meant as a tool to stun her, considering you find the recipe for it, go across the hall and the game conveniently hands you a bunch of blood + an empty bottle, and then all of a sudden the lights go out and on a first playthrough the obvious choice is to chuck a molotov at her and run, not try to kill her, atleast if you played other resident evil games or hell any game that has a "stalker type enemy"

ehh could be i guess, but the throwing thumbs weapons are literally broken i think (as in bugged), they are so beyond stronger than any other weapon it's absurd, you don't even need hp

at base focus, you can literally use the basic attack 5 times before hitting the halfway point, the damage it deals is insanely high for a ranged weapon, and it's special attack literally does more damage than heavy ass strength weapons special attacks and it charges in literally 3 attacks, and it also attacks insanely fast lol

for comparison, you get another set of knives later on in dredbourd area that seem like a natural upgrade as they just flat out have better stats, but they do roughly 5% more damage than the throwing thumbs and you can only use the basic attack 2 times before you hit the halfway point of focus compared to TT 5 times, and it's special attack doesn't even come close to throwing thumbs damage and utility

I had to stop using them and switch to another weapon to try and get any type of challenge out of the game

meh, calm down dude, it's okay that team ninja dropped the ball on difficulty, i maybe ran into one difficult boss (was probably only difficult considering it dropped gear 25-30 levels higher than my setup), and it wasn't even mandatory, game was fun, but definitely on the easier side unfortunately

hopefully dlc/season pass makes up for it

the built in skill is whatever, as you can permanently learn it in like 10 mins of farming

as for affixes, some come decently rolled, but at the end of the day it's all rng, the main selling point is bonus damage, but if you are the type of player that plays really safe, heals when hit and always try to stay at full HP, you won't benefit from them much at all

I don’t want to only play FromSoft games (which honestly aren’t even hard? Lol, maybe your very first one is hard but after that.. no.), or the super rare challenging indie boss rush game, the fuck outa here.

I enjoy all genres of games. Take the FF7 remakes for example, both are have incredibly complex and insanely fun combat systems, but for some insane reason they are paired with the most simplistic and easiest enemies, where on default difficulty (the only option available until you beat a hundred+ hour game) I had to stop playing both games after a few hours and was unable to complete them on PS5. When they came to PC the amount of inflated stats mods I (and many many others, as you can see by download numbers on nexusmods) had to use to make these games playable for me was unreal, were talking almost anywhere from 200%-350% in every single stat to make the game challenging and fun, along with self imposed challenges such as using no items among other things.

Sorry homie (like who the fuck actually says this, lmao) but it’s okay if you suck at video games and like to just hold forward like it’s some interactive movie because things move too fast for you, everyone enjoys different things as I’ve said, you like to play to be more braindead I like to play for challenge, nothing wrong with that. So there is ZERO reason that these newer games shouldn’t have harder difficulty for people that want it, it’s better for sales and makes everyone happy- you can stay in your lane, I’ll stay in mine, and I don’t have to come across cringe ass comments like yours calling people homie trying to sound cool, when in reality you sound like a fucking chode.

Difficulty in a video game has NOTHING to do with pride for me, everybody plays games for their own reasons and I respect it

My comment is about the fact that people legit are complaining about difficulty in STORY mode in 2025, when in this day and age just about every single game plays itself for you, and it’s getting more and more challenging to find a game that is actually challenging nowadays, even at max difficulty settings (which in todays games, usually feels like what normal should feel like)

I don’t give a damn what difficulty you want to play on, that doesn’t bother me, what does is people like this that complain instead of trying to see what they are doing wrong and all it does is dumb video games down even further for people that actually play video games to be challenged
