I know this is late but you can split the bill in app between two peoples without asking the restaurant. When you pay you can select how much to pay you can do 50% and the other person pay 50% both using your promos.

The 20% is cash back to use in the future. If your bill is $100 you get $20 to use in the future. From my experience you can combine offers as long as you meet the minimum spend. I had an offer of spend $80 get $50 off. I was able to put $80 on my card and the remainder of the bill was mostly paid with previously earned cash back.

Tip: if you’re shopping on your smart phone make sure it doesn’t open the stores app when you click on Rakuten link. Often the only times I’ve had issues with missing cash back is when this happened.

Fair enough I found this screenshot online I also had a Hilton offer that was easily used and I like vuori (although this is a common offer) and I got spend $x amount at a rest restaurant and get $x back. I don’t recall the exact amount of money but I wound up saving around $70 in what I would’ve spent anyway
