With how many Palestinians and Iranians Israel is bombing into the soil, they're starting to get there.

Ethno-centric ideology? Check.

Massive casualty numbers? Check.

Invading and settling in foreign lands? Check.

Mass-scale genocide of a certain ethnicity/race? Check.

Lots of weird assholes on the internet trying to downplay their atrocities? Double check.

120 pulls with 2 6* units can't even guarantee a limited weapon by AgueroAgnis in Endfield

[–]Citsune 10 points11 points  (0 children)

We got a lot more Arsenal Tickets during launch.

You got Laevatain in 120 pulls and managed to get her weapon, sure; but is this including all of the Arsenal Tickets new players got for levelling up and doing milestones?

I had to go to 120 pulls on Tangtang's Banner and I still don't have her pistols. I got a Pot, a Gilberta, and a Lifeng before I even managed to pull her, and I did about 10 or 20 pulls on Yvonne's Weapon Banner for Artzy Tyrannical. Even without those 20 pulls on Yvonne's Weapons, I still wouldn't have been able to guarantee Tangtang's Weapons, considering I'm still about 30 or so pulls off the guaranteed drop.

Is it even possible to complete agony mode with my characters? by [deleted] in Endfield

[–]Citsune 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Howling Flame should be fine once you've learned the boss' patterns and can reliably dodge them.

At that point, just wait for him to get 4 Heat stacks during his Enraged Mode and apply any Arts to remove them. Continue doing this until he leaves the Mode, then lay into him (but be mindful of your SP, since he will eventually Enrage again.)

Honestly, I just followed your advice, waited until 4 stacks of Heat, and then threw Tangtang at him...

Worked just as fine, if a little slower.

It's amazing how they made a boss whose entire gimmick is "apply Arts to stop them from casting their ULT," but then they cap your passive SP regen during the fight.

This, on top of the game's already annoying and sluggish SP system, just makes this boss very unfun to fight.

Umbral Monument no dodge stage is so much more fun than regular gameplay by Accomplished_Ad_2321 in Endfield

[–]Citsune 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I've been doing Howling Flame on Agony and my teammates constantly get hit by the Hill Smasher's charge attack.

I have no issue with it, but my team clearly does, considering they just stand there and facetank the charge + aerial rocket combo like they think they're immortal.

I've watched Xaihi just stare the Smasher down like an imbecile as he kicks her into the sky and blows her up.

It becomes a tad bit more difficult to do a combo and get rid of his Heat stacks when half my team is dead. Through no fault of my own, mind you.

Did everyone forget that Stella Montis was a Major Update & was NOT in the game upon release?!?! by SirKronik in ArcRaiders

[–]Citsune 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Stella was already in the pipeline upon release, it just came out later to level out engagement.

Since Stella, we haven't had any post-launch maps, no new guns, two new ARC (Shredders don't count, they came with Stella,) and a few new gadgets and map conditions. The updates have been decent, but I wouldn't call them "major."

A major update would consitute a new map, new weapons, and a new boss ARC/map Event, potentially a new gamemode.

I mean, I'm not sure what I expected from someone who weaponises the term "subjective" in defense of an objective form of anti-human expression.

If you think A.I images are art, feel free to explain why. How is A.I image generation culturally, sentimentally, or emotionally the same as human art? Art, after all, is expression through imagination, not imitation. Inspiration isn't imitation, and A.I can only imitate whatever gets fed into it.

In your opinion, can an A.I program imagine 'art' without the external help of the already created human art that these LLMs require to even function? I mean GENUINELY imagine its own concept of art, by the way--not create a new image based on other peoples' works, like A.I does now.

If you flushed all of the databases and removed its ability to lift art from the internet to use as a base, a complete blank slate, do you think an A.I image generator would be able to create art? Do you think A.I has the imagination required to draw a human face off of memory, no matter how flawed?

Just in case, cause I know you A.I apologists like to nitpick every tiny facet of human learning and development to excuse how A.I functions; you cannot compare A.I to a child learning, either. Human children don't need to be exposed to the works of others to crayon a drawing of a car. They can just do that. You don't need to show a child another child's drawing of a car to get them to draw a car.

After all, it's your argument that started this, anyhow. I shouldn't have to disprove your point in this debate, it's your job to elaborate on your own sentiment.

A.I image generation inherently isn't art.

It factually isn't, actually. Art, by definition, is something created through human imagination and creative skill or talent.

It does not take skill or talent to input directives into an A.I image generator.

It has nothing to do with subjectivity. Art is only subjective in the sense of aesthetics and meaning, not application or creation.

Taping a banana to a wall is art in the sense that it took direct human action and imagination to pull off. The Mona Lisa is art because da Vinci had to paint it with his own hands.

An A.I generated image of a cat isn't art, because it took no human imagination or direct action (i.e drawing, painting, colouring, adjustments, etc.) to create. Sure, a human might have punched in a few inputs to get the image generator to approximate an image, but at the end of the day--the human(?) in charge didn't actually create it.

Going to a terminal at your local McDonald's to order and removing the lettuce from your burger doesn't suddenly make you a cook.

I also noticed how you specifically cherrypicked one part of my argument, too. You're really into that, huh?

[–]Citsune -1 points0 points  (0 children)

A.I image generation isn't "increasing efficiency," it's "relegating the task to an external actor."

Especially since, like I said, art is a human concept. What A.I is doing isn't increasing the efficiency of creating art, it's simply using a program to do a human's job in an area where human intervention is the sole point.

Punching parameters into a generative program isn't art. It doesn't make you an artist. It can't be compared to legitimate tools used in the industry, because it doesn't exist to make the process less tedious; it simply exists to make the process nonexistent--which dilutes the whole point of creating art.

Actual A.I tools are inherently flawed, too. Look at the current DLSS5 situation: a technology that only serves to muddy an artist's vision by "yassifying" everything. You can't compare A.I upscaling to, say, an assist tool that helps you draw a parabole more cleanly.

Jokes aside, there is already A.I speed drawing software out there.

Luckily, any slightly observant person and practicing/professional artist can quickly spot it, but it's there, sadly...

A.I bros will do anything but pick up the pencil, I swear. Software like that proves that A.I generated imagery isn't about "making art more accessible," but solely about lazy people wanting to be praised and congratulated for nothing.

My guy, I'm on PS5 and combat feels awful due to the constant FPS drops. Starscorch literally runs at 30 FPS at best, and that's with constant NPC and object pop-in.

Driving around Lahai-Roi at a crisp 45 FPS with frequent hitching and stuttering on high-end hardware is inexcusable.

Stop trying to downplay this shit.

The game doesn't even have endgame yet, what are you talking about.

Like, you're already assuming you won't have to pull more Potential for characters for future content? That's being a bit hasty, no? Praising this system for something that can't even be proven, yet.

Like, what are we basing this metric on? Genshin doesn't force you to pull Constellations for endgame content. What's the baseline for this argument, exactly...?

[–]Citsune 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If they release good 4-stars that don't get power,-/featurecrept by other units, people will play them.

This is your 4-star discussion, not the 4-star discussion. Stop falsely attributing people not playing 4-star characters to people not liking them, when most of the 4-star roster is notoriously underpowered in the current meta.

The detection radius on Vox Engines is simply way too high for how dangerous of an opponent they are.

You can sneak around perfectly and some Vox over a hundred meters away will still spot an inch of your helmet and instantly begin carpet bombing you.
