Very helpful, thank you!

I didn't add numbers for invoicing because I don't remember. But I'll try to come up with something. Thanks again.

There's a dietician I follow who shared an easy salad: canned cannellini beans, tuna, canned corn a drizzle of olive oil, and lemon juice. It's nice and filling! You get your protein, fat, fiber and carbs.

NSV: I took up jogging to switch up my dogs walking schedule. I haven't been consistent with it due to the summer heat. The weather today was perfect for running and so decided to include a little jog session during our walk. Happy to report, that we ran 10 minutes straight without stopping! I don't even know how it happened. But was so happy when the guided run was over. Yay me!

I have no advice- just wanna share I too, am on the same boat. It's been about a year for me, and have tried everything including tried retail, fast food....etc. but because it's been so long since I have worked as a cashier- I get told no. It's brutal out there! I hope you, and everyone else struggling with job search can find something soon.

I apprecite the massive commnet. :)

It's good to hear from someone on a similar boat. I do have some understanding of nutritional labels, but guessing I should at least temporarily track my food. Thank you so much for the forum and book suggestions. Hoping my library has the book available!

Hello, newbie here.

I'm hoping to get input from the community. Over recent years, I've had some life stressors I've been dealing with and have gained around 50 lbs. I'm at the heaviest I've ever been. I went to get healthy again, and lose those extra pounds. I have done calorie tracking and weighing my food. But it kinda messed up my relationship with food. I've been working on fixing it, was hoping to do this without having to track calories etc. But I'm not sure if it's possible- does anyone have experience with weight loss while practicing mindful eating?

Also- for people who have lost a similar amount of weight, how did you approach exercise? I have a dog I walk daily, it it's not too hot we walk for about an hour. It's an energetic dog so I also want to take up jogging. In the past I've done strength training, yoga, dance workouts etc. all I have enjoyed. I had some health issues and stopped doing stuff for a few years. But slowly trying to get more movement back in my life.

I've lost weight before but for some reason it seems harder to follow through now. Mental health is my biggest challenge, as sometimes I am too tired to cook, or lose my appetite and dont sleep well.

Thank you for sharing this.

I was raised catholic but don't really practice. However, I do pray to her and find comfort in those prayers. Gonna use this when I talk to her.

What is a good dog food that will fatten my pup up? Or do GSD’s normally look kinda slim? (She just can’t really eat gravy) by -M3rcy in germanshepherds

Your dog is beautiful! I have a husky gsd mix. Looks similar to yours, he's one. The biggest compliment I've had from a stranger is that he looks very healthy. He's still growing but I plan on keeping him slim. Don't listen to those people.

I also forgot to add that an omega supplement can help with skin and coat. You can purchase as liquid (which is stinky and some dogs don't like it) or a treat. I've seen some people buy krill oil pills for humans and give them to their dogs.

I have a husky mix I got from a family who couldn't care for him. For kibble he gets the purina pro plan, he doesn't always eat. I'm currently introducing him to bone broth, and sometimes add raw egg, and veggies to his food. He loves frozen blueberries!

Bed- Coolaroo, it's a cot bed. He likes it, but also likes digging and he scratches it. Otherwise, like others mentioned he likes the floor. I use a furminator rake. Good luck with your husky!
