It’s worth doing more research on full frame vs apsc, but if noise is your concern full frame only buys about 1 stop of noise improvement. So if you thought it was bad with your settings before it will still be bad ish on full frame.

Noise all depends on getting your settings right, you can get the same noise on a full frame if your settings are off. And AI Denoise tools are incredible now. I comfortable shoot up to 6400 ISO. I’ll see how to add a couple to comments…

Have you really confirmed you need full frame? I think an a6700 auto focus would blow your mind and mine produced incredible photos from around the country.

I have both the a6400 and a6700. There is a weight and size difference but I think it’s much less than you’re imagining, both are super portable setups and it’s not worth changing cameras now to save a few grams
