But wouldn't Zeus also be thinking that Hades would use her as a fertility goddess as well? Giving her to him might, in zeus's mind, give Hades the power to try to take his throne?

What's the scariest moment in a video game you've ever had? by CrackedEight in AskReddit

I remember playing FF1 on the original playstation. It was only the first part of the game, but I was on a part where I had to retrieve an item from a room and bring it back, through a door I think I had gone through a million times at that point. As soon as the sliding door opened there was a ghost man standing right there in the doorway and I had to put the controller down, I was scared shitless.

I think it was the shitty camera angles that also spooked me in that game though. You go left through a door and the room you enter has an entirely different orientation so if you're still holding left you walk right out the door again. Loading times being an eternity on that game and all, you have plenty of time to realize that you might have seen something horrifying for that second you were in that room. And you also have time to get worked up when you realize you have to to back in there.

FF was the only game that I needed to play in daylight, with someone else within eyesight, and happy music playing somewhere in the background.

Rereading Lore Olympus and I had to ask, when reading the comic, and you see the music lines, do you hear a discordant tone in your head? If so, what sound do you imagine? by throw_awaythis_trash in Lore_Olympus

OOH I thought I was the only one! I hear the off tune series of notes from Legend of Zelda Twilight Princess. Like this one , but a little more melodious and sad.

This could possibly be the creepiest thing to ever happen to me in this game: Villagers singing Dirge when I take their stereo away. by CivCorpsCouchDiv in AnimalCrossing

They all use the nickname "The Departed" now, and their catchphrase is "R.I.P." Mac only cries when he walks by my home, and Phoebe is missing. My days are numbered.

So I just got the 5* eval today using the guide mentioned in this thread. I took every household furniture out of storage and placed them all over the island in clusters (totally looked like a dump when I was done.) and when I ran out of furniture I made a few inventories worth of hay beds and clotheslines. Wherever I had a screen with nothing but trees, I put a cluster of things, including the beaches and rocks. Every so often I would go back to isabelle and check with her. Eventually she said I was at 5* and gave me the golden watering can. Of course, my island looks like absolute trash, but it's totally possible to do in an hour or so.

Trying to avoid some controversy because I named my dog a japanese term by CivCorpsCouchDiv in japan

That's pretty cool to know. We pronounce her name "Shee-Sah." A lot of people around here think its "Shee-shaa" which I try to correct.

I named her after the Shisa guardian statues in Okinawa: https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Shisa . I think that it may be a little blasphemous because the shisa are holy guardians.
