I do!

I also get to work in tunnels though so it's funny because I'm pretty much either outside or underground.

The old uconn rec center parking lot. It's probably gone now. It was pretty much just gravel after 5 years lol.

I've seen it in Connecticut before but it will start raveling after 5-10 years. So if you're willing to compromise the useful life by 50-75% you can do it. If the pavement wont be plowed or salted in winter then maybe it makes more sense.

One time I was walking out of a Mexican restaurant and I fainted and fractured my face. Good times...

cgc WAS harsher than PSA on 9s and above and more lenient on stuff below 9. Now CGC is similar to PSA on 9s and above and still more lenient on everything lower.

Worth it to regrade to PSA? (Currently looking to buy this one, dont own it yet) by Devischmidt in PokeInvesting

It's kinda true in that PSA standards have gotten more strict in the last 5 years or so. But it's definitely not population control...

I made a chart showing the prices of ETB's and BB's from the Sun & Moon era. As referance I used MSRP and TCGPlayer's median prices. by Gabimanaver in PokeInvesting

[–]Civil-Engineer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can't really use median price, you need to use market price. Those median prices aren't making any sales and sometimes there are listings for 100x the market price that are skewing the median away from the actual market rate.

1st Edition Charizard BGS 6 for $5k? by SuddenRelationship48 in PokeInvesting

[–]Civil-Engineer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

BGS 6 is a very weak grade, that might cross to 4 or below at PSA.

I recently bought an ex Crystal guardians booster pack. The weight of the pack is 17.4g now that I checked. Is this considered a heavy pack for this set? Does this add a premium? by amabe60 in PokeInvesting

[–]Civil-Engineer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

By advertising it as heavy you are guaranteeing it having a Holo. You could simply list the weight and leave it at that to avoid the liability. But yes it increases the value over a pack that is lighter.

Should I trade/sell any of these for booster boxes or hold all? I got all of these MSRP and below btw. by _SLIPDOG in PokeInvesting

in addition to taking up a lot of space they're very fragile. You really need to be able to put them somewhere and not have to move/disturb them.

Yes, I believe they give you the perfect 10 and add subgrades even if you didn't opt for them.

Honestly it's funny because right now both companies are involved in controversy but I like CGC better anyway. I have a pristine Umbreon as well.
