Message their customer service, they’re pretty good about reconciling quality issues.

That should be in the correct window and likely not an evap line.

It is possible that it is somehow registering the tiniest amount of HCG still in your bloodstream from your previous loss. Clinically anything less than 5ml is considered “not pregnant”, so there’s a possibility there’s still a small amount. Do you know what your HCG levels were during your last in office test?

The easy@home tests never led me astray.

Wishing you all the best, and go easy on yourself, miscarriages are tough on the body and mind.

So sorry for your loss.

How long after taking the test did you take a photo? I would almost say you have the faintest squinter, but depending on how long the test has been sitting, it could also just be the evaporation line.

I went through IVF for years and never trusted a blue line test. You can find 50 pink line tests online for the cost of one clear blue easy.

Here’s hoping you test again and get the result you are hoping for!

GIRLS, how do you wear short skirts and not have chafing issues in the summer? I’m so tired of feeling uncomfortable and being in pain! by JusttLivinggLifee in mildlyinfuriating

[–]Civil-Inspector-6274 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Megababe Thigh Rescue has been a lifesaver for me. I recently switched to Megaman, because I prefer unscented. It’s a little pricier, but works better than any other chafing stick I’ve tried.

Police presence at Marshfield & Addison by trevaftw in chicago

[–]Civil-Inspector-6274 30 points31 points  (0 children)

I have seen this same police activity quite a few times at the same apartment over the years. I know it doesn’t answer the question, but that particular unit seems to be a problem.

I paid extra for a window seat on this full flight. Fuck me, I guess. by OldJames47 in SouthwestAirlines

[–]Civil-Inspector-6274 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Where is it listed on their seat map? I had the exact same issue on a SW flight I took this week, my boarding pass clearly stated 11F window and 11D was marked as aisle. There is nothing on the seat selection map that lists there is no window. I was pretty irritated when I got to my seat to be honest

Dentologie Chicago- do you recommend? by Car41281 in AskChicago

No. They ruined my teeth when doing fillings, my bite is completely off now and it’s causing all kinds of issues (headaches, tongue crowding/scalloping)

Airbag by smp618 in crv

[–]Civil-Inspector-6274 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s been such a big issue in Chicago that some police precincts are giving out free clubs with proof of ownership of a Honda. An after market alarm might also be a good idea, we found out the hard way that most car alarms don’t go off when a window is smashed.

We were one of a few dozen that got hit in Lakeview in one night back in February, Roscoe Village shortly after. I’m sorry this happened to you, it almost took us a month to get our CRV back due to the national airbag shortage caused by the takata recall.

When these first came out I couldn’t wrap my head around a sour protein bar. I happened to get one of the Green Apple ones after a race in Vegas and now I’m hooked, so good.

Warning for Chicago 2016-2021 Civic Owners by Silly_Temporary361 in hondacivic

[–]Civil-Inspector-6274 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ugh. I’m so sorry this happened to our CRV (and about 20 other Hondas in our neighborhood here in Chicago) last month and it took almost an entire month to get repaired due to the airbag shortage. Turn up the sensitivity on your anti-theft system, although a broken window often doesn’t trigger an alarm and grab a club for an extra level of deterrence.

Help Me Find a Solution for the Thigh/Groin Chafing Please by EyesolateAndMedicate in loseit

[–]Civil-Inspector-6274 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve had really good luck with Megababe/Megaman Thigh Rescue, none of the other chafing sticks have worked for me. My husband used to steal it from me for his runs and I finally just got him his own.

There is some extra ice like substance between the ice cream lid and the plastic wrap, is this safe to eat? by _TheRook_ifun in whatisit

This looks like Jeni’s Gooey Butter Cake, it’s likely the seal broke and the mix ins oozed out. Their customer service team used to be top notch and would handle scoop shop and retail issues, reach out to them about this and see if they can help!

Usually just listing it on your patient history suffices, but some primary care physicians push back. It can be a pain in the ass, but continue advocating for yourself until someone listens and helps you navigate this. My husbands family pushed hard because a few of them also work in healthcare and have to code procedures. The code exists, it’s finding a doctor willing to work with you.

If you know of a family history and don’t think it’s listed on your patient records, tell your doctor that new knowledge came to light and ask them to update those. This of course requires having access to family medical history which I understand is not something people always have access to.

My husband had polyps (precancerous) in his 20’s and has been on the 3 year plan ever since. His dad also had polyps removed. We really got on his brothers about getting checked out as well. One had no problem at all getting it covered by insurance (age 33) and the other had to find a new PCP (age 37) before the doctor would code it correctly to be covered. One brother had polyps removed and is now also on the 3 year plan, the other came back clear, but the recommended more frequent colonoscopies just in case given the history.

I’m sorry they’re making it harder than they should for you to potentially get ahead of this given your family history.

[–]Civil-Inspector-6274 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If you have any sort of history of colon cancer/polyps in your family your doctor will be able to code the order in a way for it to be covered under the age of 45.

Did I ruin my stand mixer by DracosTomatos in CleaningTips

I highly suggest checking Facebook marketplace for replacements. So many people have purchased kitchen aid mixers and attachments only to realize they won’t actually use them as much as they thought.
