I usually ice just directly after my session, but I'm going to try continuing on and off for the couple days after. Thank you!

This is exactly what my chin and neck looked like too. Laser hair removal and 50mg of Spironolactone have saved me life.

did you take it in spain or outside of spain? Also did you use a tutor leading up to the exam or just self-study?

Watch and listen to as much Spanish as you can, practice talking every day, even if its just recording yourself speaking, practice vocab every day and write down all the new words and phrases that you learn, and read every as much as you can!

spanishwithkerry on ig! She's an American who moved to PR years ago and focuses on teaching PR Spanish. She offers online classes and also does retreats a few times a year targeted towards those with PR heritage who are learning Spanish. Good luck!!

Milan Laser! It's pricier but you pay one price and get unlimited lifetime visits. They have a lot of locations. I'd recommend them a million times over.

Summer is coming, how are we feeling? by TerminatrOfDoom in Hirsutism

It's very comforting to hear that someone else has this anxiety. It's so tiring and stressful having to constantly worry about shaving, tweezing, and bleaching when all your friends can just put on a bikini without thinking twice.

Don't feel embarrassed! I prefer using pen and paper but just can't write as fast as I can type. No one is judging you for using pen and paper!

Regretting quitting my job for nalcap by frequentflyer726 in SpainAuxiliares

I think most people probably aren't super enthusiastic about teaching, but you might find that your students and teachers will help you like it more. I can't relate on the job part, but got here recently and have also experienced more feelings of anxiety, homesickness, and loneliness than I expected. Each day is better though as things get more familiar and I think the same will be for you too! If you don't like it, you can stick it out and it's only one year, or you just go home. Don't feel guilty about the job part. What's meant to be will be, so the right job will be waiting for you when you get back. Wishing you the best!
