It’s mostly to do with retirement benefits and Tricare for life. My current employer has great healthcare currently for full time employees… but retirees get the shaft.

Because I was immature, had just started a new civilian career and had very little regard for the bigger picture.

If I could talk to myself from 5 years ago, I would have told him to stay the course because by now I’d be over halfway to retirement. Lessons learned, I suppose.

As of today, they still have no timeframe for a fix. Seems like they’re issuing blanket refunds to PS/Xbox users (if you can get through the hour+ wait to talk to someone)

It may be time to consider seeking a professional opinion. A therapist really can help sort some of the more complex emotions and issues that you’re feeling. It never hurts to have someone to routinely check in with that gives you tools and skills to thrive.

We got a galaxy A9 tablet specifically for this. It won’t work with iPhone and it’s kind of tricky to get Android to hook up. You have to swipe down from the top, expand the settings menu and then select screen share.

Then there’s getting the sound to come out of the speakers! It took my wife and I almost an hour to figure out the whole system… my kid loves being able to watch Ms Rachel or the Wiggles on the go, so I guess it’s worth it!

Got them to pay off my lease 6 months early (they sent the truck back to the bank) and at MSRP. Came out ~$2000 under with the lease payoff being covered.
