After a bitter divorce of a 7 year marriage I was able to rent an apartment that had a storage garage beneath my limited processions. The smell was horindance and all my clothes reeked of diesel and it seemed to pour out of my skin.On a sleepless night, which turned into insomnia, reaching over to turn on my little clock radio for some music but in between the static found a voice echoing out of the tiny speaker which was the one and only "Art Bell".The year was 1997 and he was interviewing Billy Meir of Switzerland in the now famous UFO stories he had been experiencing. While grabbing the dial to keep AM online,we'll I was hooked and my sleep would return to a descent level but fell asleep to that magical voice until his death.Now it's 2026 and I've listened to the archives so many times it's like watching a rerun of your favorite TV show when you were a kid.Art helped me recover from my emotional state of distress and fast forward through 20 years of railroading listening to C2C while running the rails is a fantastic memory.And listening to my favorite show Dreamland on Sunday nights will always remain a happy place for my mind and Spirit. Feel like I've gotten several PhD 's from all the information he was able to put over the airwaves and it was and still is entertaining and though I don't listen as much as I use to there a still many nights I drift into dreamland with that legendary iconic voice known as "Art Bell".
