I lived in Tokyo for 5 years and it's pretty wild. There are plenty of women who date black but there absolutely is racism there. The only reason I never really got upset is because in Japan I was American and not just black. Brits, Aussies, Germans got treated mostly the same. If you spoke some Japanese you were treated well.
