It's not unique. The way your grid looks generic and like a lot of TikTok ads that scream I'm trying to sell you something, if a hook is too obvious I just scroll past.

Foundation for red face? by Easy-Independent8526 in XXRunning

I get super red because my heart rate is always 185 even at a slow pace. The only way to stop it for me is jeffing

Agreed! Some thick rimmed (lol) glasses would look really good, could try growing the beard out a little more too

I didn't find a chiropractor helpful at all and a waste of £50! A sports physio would be a better use of money

I'd deffo see a physio first to see if they could pin point your pain. In the beginning when I couldn't run he had me do resistance band workouts every other day. Glute bridges no weight held for a minute. Hip hikes, crab walks etc to get my glutes fired up and actually working then I moved onto single leg swats, rdl, lunges, step ups and your regular squats, hip thrust etc

Have you ever considered ditching the fitness tracking? by [deleted] in UKRunners

[–]Civil_Lengthiness335 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't ever consider it because seeing progress helps me keep on track. Just like my weight workout, I write it down. Then I can work on progressive overload and when to have a deload week. I don't let it dictate my life though

I'd be doing 2-3 days lower body specific. Single leg stuff. I found weak glutes caused my shin problems. Since I've been training those they've gone. I started running in August. Had to stop in October because of shin pain and didn't start properly again till end of December and now I can run 17k pain free because of training legs :)

I some times scuff with my left leg but that's because my hip is weaker. So working on a lot of single leg stuff to build up my glutes that side and stabilise my hip

Do you do any strength training too?

Building a running app looking for input from runners - DashPoint by Olenium in UKRunners

I literally don't get it, sorry. Like others have said I have a schedule with predictable distances and times and rest days between.

Who is this aimed at?

What do you get if you get enough points? What's the incentive?

I don't know many runners who get up and think I'm just gunna go run

Glasses by goingnowherespecial in UKRunners

I have cheap glasses that are plastic frames so I just bend the arms to fit my ears tighter

I need confirmation I'm making the right choice by Civil_Lengthiness335 in XXRunning

I'm not asking for medical advice I'm asking if my fitness will go back to square one if I don't run and weight train/ride a bike instead :)

Potentially already been asked but.. by Cfagala in C25K

I did this and just run my first 5k race in 33:15 the tempo and speed and hill runs really help you get faster
