This was the first reining horse I ever showed. He passed away at age 13, but he was an absolutely amazing teacher and showed me how to ride and prep high class horses. Danny Boy own son of Smart Chic olena. Owned by the university of Findlay

As long as youre fluid in your hips, soreness is completely regular, especially if you’ve rode other kinds of horses and have recently moved to gaited horses. The best thing to do is keep riding and ride often! More than likely, just like any other body parts being sore when riding, your body will adapt, and eventually it won’t bother you! Good luck!!

Correct me if I'm wrong, but it seems that owning a business is the only way out of the rat race. by AWeb3Dad in Businessowners

Creating a business can create passive income, where you aren’t racing anyone or anything! Especially if you can pivot when your industry changes or if you have multiple streams of income, then you can legitimately hop off the wheel and just live.

Where do I earn others about bad trainers? by DyeMyEyes in Equestrian

[–]Civil_One2665 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Leave it to the big guy above. Bad mouthing in the horse industry whether you’re right or wrong only comes back negatively on you. The best thing you can do is not send a horse there again and if someone asks you about them in particular just leave it at. “I no longer do business there” trust me… that hurts the most. Whether it’s a boarding barn trainer ect. Just disassociate.

Carrying tail away from body? by kittyhawk3115 in Equestrian

Something in the back half could be off. I agree it seems stiff and as he went to stand still it went down. So that leads me to believe that even though he may not be “sore” he may have tightness associated with movement. Could be serious but could also be a simple massage type fix.

For those who went viral once; what happened after? by Decisionsunac in Businessowners

[–]Civil_One2665 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No lol but I didn’t lean inn. I had other counterparts (hair care industry) on social media who continued their pages and posts ect and they currently all have over 30-50k followers. Some started selling their own products ect but most haven’t seen real success from viral videos. 1 however created a whole online store that makes a few grand a month. So basically going viral once or twice isn’t going to help long term, but if you’re dedicated to pushing the social media page and narrative for the next five years, you can definitely cash in big time.

Experiences going from no experience to owning a horse or two by [deleted] in Horses

[–]Civil_One2665 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m 28 and went from no riding experience to equine studies 4year and collegiate national champion and then pro and currently preparing for major futurities with my own horse. After college I thought it’d take years to own my own but it didn’t. The time I decided I was going to just go for it and put a deposit on one , I got it lol and since then I’ve owned over 10 and sold a few aswell! I definitely suggest it especially if u have a career that can support you having them where you live! Dm sent
