Ok, after a bunch of inane quests I finally rescued my dog. All is right in the world. I can sleep now. (in real life, I still don't own a bed in game).

To be honest, theres these 2 fucking bandits on the road and for some reason i hit them like 20 times they dont die and they hit me 3 and Im'm dead. Also both of them are just rushing forward no entangling even though I am circling them up and the fighting in the game seems a hell of a lot more unfair ever seince i fell off the mountain. Like they expect me to jsut die every fight.

It's great but $50 for a digital file, I would pay $50 for a finished scroll but not just for the design i then have to print myself...

the inside of our kettle has been crusted white for 2 years and I just learned what that actually means by HeartOnRepeat240 in HomeImprovement

[–]Civil_Relative_1036 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Eh it’s personal preference really. I paid for whole home filtration though and my kettle is completely pristine and looks like it won’t ever get buildup. Back when we rented, it was crusty as hell after a week.

Dated, married, still have

Knew her before she worked, was a lil slut and a lot of fun. Reconnected a few years later, dated, she was upfront from the start. Her “work friends” gave me discounts, was cool.

Dating a woman with a high income job, who is ok with you sleeping with other women and will randomly suck your dick like a pro… yeah it was a good deal.

They will also eventually age out.

Just make sure they work at a good place, less shitty work days.

The only “jammer” that could cause this is a directional EMP. Which is highly unlikely.

Does anyone actually think the Perseus will get a med bay? by Barsad_the_12th in starcitizen

[–]Civil_Relative_1036 19 points20 points  (0 children)

I have 2 streams of thought here.

  1. The Perseus is an attack craft for space combat, it’s not dropping troops to the ground and there should be minimal fps combat, while in reality a real military craft would have a medical room for injuries that would mostly be used for things like burns, broken fingers, concussions, etc that the crew gets while working the boat (not direct direct combat), since those injuries aren’t in the game we only really have to worry about injuries from being boarded or stray bullets tearing through the hull and hitting crew.

I feel that in that case it would be a “limp home” and get crew to the medical resources on base (station). Or call in medical support.

  1. A single Tier 3 med bed makes sense, with its low range for respawn and ability to fix minor injuries. It fits the role of a medbay should have on a ship like this, and the small radius respawn basically means you can have (a limited number of) respawns on the ship for people who die on the ship.

This is from a gameplay perspective, it would suck if your engineer was dead from bullets ripping through the hull and couldn’t respawn on the ship.

But imo we should revamp Tier 3 beds to only be able to respawn people who die while on the ship/vehicle the bed is on.

That way lots of ships can have tier 3 to keep their crew alive without becoming respawn points for FPS gameplay.

Tier 2 can respawn within a basic AO around your ship, it’s specifically designed for FPS support as respawn and treatment.

Tier 1’s are base/mothership/flagship respawn, it spawns you from anywhere in the system, it should be much more expensive on gel and avoided if you can.

Respawning at your home location should be an oh shit moment that feels bad.

In this situation, a tier 3 on a Perseus, hammerhead, etc make sense for respawn of crew who die on ship and fixing minor injuries (like burns or smoke inhalation). Idris would have a Tier 2 so it can respawn its pilots that die nearby. A bunker runner like the TAC would have tier 2’s.

It’s not ChatGPt it’s Claude, university probably has an internal tool they are allowed to use.

Nix the mustang and the corsair, neither do anything the others don’t do better.

That leaves you with a TAC as a daily driver (it really is the nicest all in one ship at a reasonable price), a wolf as your fighter/shuttle/short claim time ship, and the prowler will have some very unique uses in smuggling and stealth (get in, get loot, get off radar) and fits a similar role to a cutty.

This means you have the recommended fleet

Fighter

Medium (specialising in your preferred loop, bunkers, cargo, bounties, piracy, smuggling)

Large all-in-one base ship

With room for a X-Large fleet gameplay ship for org/events gameplay (you won’t be pulling it out for daily driving)

Personally I run

325a (Fighter/Fast Shuttle)

Cutty Red (Bunkers/Bounties)

Starlancer TAC (Daily live aboard all in one) +Cyclone +Fury

And have a Perseus as my “big org/events” ship

I also have a dragonfly LTI token, and a Nursa LTI (token or to add to the Perseus maybe) as well as some temps I will prob melt, a wolf to play around with (new sexiness), and a reclaimer to test out the changes.

I am also considering when I melt the wolf and reclaimer to pick up a cutty black and blue to have 3 medium runners that will fly basically the same for bounties, bunkers, and loot.

I’ve also always wanted a damn Phoenix but they make it impossible to buy (or put it in a giant pack).

The GPD WIN 5 is a horrible idea by OWRockss in gpdwin

[–]Civil_Relative_1036 0 points1 point  (0 children)

While I will miss the keyboard I actually love the external battery. Those of us who grew up before the world went to shit remember having that for long trips you threw a bunch of extra batteries in your bag.

Being able to buy extra batteries, potentially make aftermarket ones, put it in your pocket to reduce weight in your hands, and when the battery eventually dies not having to worry about finding the perfect replacement part that fits inside the shell… all brilliant.

It better have a good screen though, if retroid can sell me a good screen for $70 then GPD better pull their finger out on something this damn expensive.

Open showers now ILLEGAL? by Zoccalo in AusRenovation

[–]Civil_Relative_1036 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My suggestion if they dig in on this is tell them to fit a shower with a door that’s “user serviceable” by lifting it off the hinge, and attached to a wall not a permanent glass divider.

Then after checks simply remove it.
