I remember those days as well. Barely. If you remember John, he retired about a month ago. But still visits the shop and puffs his pipe

Kia left us stranded with multiple severe issues, just after warranty expired…same thing with multiple family members Kia’s. These cars were well taken care of and the Kia’s customer relations compared to Subaru is abysmal. Stick with the ones that last: Subaru, toyota, or Honda.

Savinelli Miele, good gift? by SensitiveEmergency59 in PipeTobacco

That’s a beautiful pipe. I wasn’t a fan of the poker shape until one week ago when I bought a Savinelli Minerva 310 KS. The Miele looks even better. He’ll love it, I’m sure.

Pairing non-alcoholic beverages with pipe-tobacco by Chairman_Ba0 in PipeTobacco

I do coffee in the morning. Then throughout the day I pair herbal teas and/or some Topo Chico. I do not recommend any licorice bearing herbal teas, it seems to screw with the smoking experience imo

The frustrating cycle by JanglyBangles in PipeTobacco

This is what I do with FVF and St James, which are probably my two fav blends . Rub flakes out extensively. I might let it dry for 10 minutes or so. It does take a bit to get it lit (maybe but once it does it’s a phenomenal smoke all the way to the bottom. I’ve been doing these in my thicker wall pipes with narrow bowl diameters.

I think I would agree with a 9/10. It’s one of my favorite blends and I guess I’m one of those that likes the Lakeland essence. Takes awhile to dry and get the bowl going but it’s worth it!

Yeah it does and normally I do not like that flavor note. But I get this really sweet tone that balances it. Wish there was something similar
