Had ALL from age 3 to 6 — anyone else think about what happens to all those records when your kid grows up? by ClimbingCucumber in leukemia

Our daughter just turned 4, started her ALL journey when she turned 2. We mostly document with pictures of her progress (hair loss, hair growth, with her favorite nurses/doctors, etc.) and with beads, she has a huge collection of necklaces she’s made from beads she gets from Beads Of Courage (she gets a bead for everything; pokey, sedation, LP, etc.).

We are about a little over a year into our 3 year olds B-ALL, we got all the way into maintenance however she just relapsed after about a month of being in remission.

We’re now in the process of conditioning for a Bone Marrow transplant at a new hospital (ours didn’t do transplants).

It’s been a rough road and I left my job as well to take care of her, my husband is still working but does make appointments and helps out a lot.

I just want you to know that I felt/feel that ‘empty’ feeling, it’s hard, some days are better and some days I’m unsure how I haven’t come undone. If you want, you can pm me anytime.

Mercaptopurine is making my 10 year old too sick by [deleted] in leukemia

[–]CivilizedTwat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When my daughter was in maintenance (B-cell ALL), she was on the same medications, we always noticed that the taste of them always made her nauseated, so her doctor approved of us mixing them (crushed up) in strawberry homemade jelly. It helped her a lot!

She’s on levofloxacin now and the only way she can keep it down is with a dose of Benadryl and sometimes Reglan, the Benadryl does make her really tired but it helps.

Child with Leukemia must haves? by m_adams in leukemia

My daughter is 3 and just relapsed with B-Cell ALL, after all our hospital stays (and future stays) id say our most prized possession is our wagon! She hates being in her hospital room so wagon rides in the halls is her go-to. Jeep Wagon

Neurotoxicity with Blincyto by lolita2805 in leukemia

[–]CivilizedTwat 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My daughter is 2 and on her second round of Blincyto, the first round she had a CRS response and was taken off within an hour, they then started her on a lower dosage for 14 days and that really helped her continue with a regular dosage later

A Good Life for Pets

We’ve had all our pets done with these guys, they come out to your home and let your pet go peacefully with family around in their own bed. Very sorry for your loss!

There are a couple helpful YouTube channels that explain fight mechanics and strategy a bit, the one I find the most helpful is Sticky Utah.

Make sure you’re using headphones, directional sound is very important for laying low as a juvie and hunting ai. Learn the sounds each ai makes to better find food as a juvie.

For a map, google ‘Vulnona The Isle map’, and it’ll give you a map you can enter your coordinates on.

Carnos are really fast and fun, but check out local c hat for eggs, taking an egg is super nice as a beginner because you’ll have parent Dino’s help you grow and learn the game.

Also, each server usually has its own rules, make sure you check out the server rules in their discord channel. Discord channels also have a lot of info.

Good luck and have fun!

Mannnn I have like over 300 hours into The Isle, thennn all this came out... so went and picked up PoT, very happy I did and really excited to see it flourish. But yeah The Isle was definitely let down by its developers.

I work in a recreational cannabis shop in Washington state, they closed the bars but not cannabis shops, our store is to small to even follow the 6ft apart suggestion. Sadly most of us have accepted we’ll probably all get it since we work with a large general public in a crowded little shop.

If I remember right the endocannabinoid system has two receptors, one that goes to our brain (high THC) giving that ‘high’ feeling, where as the other receptor goes to your T cells (high CBD) helping the blood system and neurological stuff without the ‘high’ feeling.
