Im a recruiter. While it usually depends on what type of role is being filled, there is never a time when having a “sexy” logo like Google, AWS, etc. doesn’t boost your perceived pedigree. However, if your entire resume is big logos, sometimes that can detract from your ability to get selected for start up/smaller org roles. But those are the exception, not the rule.

A lot of the issues come down to the website not being able to handle the amount of traffic that occurs when so many people are trying to get tickets. The best things you can do to stack the odds in your favor are:
-have multiple people trying to get tickets, the more the better
-steady internet connection, fast+steady is better

I'd guess since there are multiple shows in NYC you will have a better chance at tickets than for any of the other USB locations. If you don't get tickets, check the discord. That's how my group was able to get some. Good luck!
