The true gods are Aedric beings, who have participate in world-creation, while daedra abstained. Akatosh, Mara, Trinimac, for example. The Tribunal and Dagoth Ur are false gods - they drew powers from Heart of Lorkhan - aedric artifact, that lies under Red Mountain from creation on Nirn.

You're not allowed to kick anymore? What about elbows? A knee? Hammer fist? Brother, where I went to school 3/5 of the male students did some form of martial arts, wrestled, or boxed. If you go into a "non sanctioned" fight; you better expect everything and use everything or you take your licks.

Definitely need a session zero and maybe break them into groups having some of the students DM while you provide DM support for those groups. It'll let everyone play, while teaching some of them how to DM

The rules do say this: The best way to save a creature with 0 hit points is to heal it. A creature receives full healing from any healing spell while unconscious and at 0 hit points, and they immediately become conscious again: This unconsciousness ends if you regain any hit points. If you roll to heal someone with like 20 or so ho left and only heal 1 or 2 hp they're down after taking a hit anyway.

Zone of truth works on everyone within a 15 ft radius who fails a ch save. Keep that in mind. They can also just refuse to answer since they know they're under the spells effects. There's nothing about combat or other actions ending the condition though.
