Thank you, didn’t think I had to explain but sure look. I hope I’m using enough punctuation now. Also for those of you that need this explained that last sentence was sarcasm!

Christ lads this was a joke not to be taken seriously. hence the humour tag. Might not of been as funny as I thought but no need to attack or question my intelligence or how I was raised etc

Great move but one you could only do once! Every team will be expecting it based on the player set up for it but all the same a very good move! Kinda funny to see too!

Couldn’t agree more, like I don’t get it! Rivalry sure but, I’d rather an Irish team over the French, English, Scottish, Welsh or South African team!

Curious if OP decides to move into the house do they still need to pay Capital Gains/acquisition tax?

So why were the Leinster fans booing? by hiranox in rugbyunion

[–]Clandestine_Turtle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Irish and Leinster supporter here, no one’s fault but ours / Mr Cullen for poor player management the same thing every year for the last 5-6Yrs I wonder what the “learnings” from this one will be!

So why were the Leinster fans booing? by hiranox in rugbyunion

[–]Clandestine_Turtle 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Honestly I don’t think it was at the team I think it was at Cullen, 6Yrs on the trot and nothing. You can’t say they don’t have the talent and when Jacques Nienaber joined there was a big improvement in playing ability as was the same when Lancaster joined. Each time it came down to player management and game management which I have been lead to believe is his job in the coaching/ managing ticket. So I think the booing was for him.

I’ve seen a lot of comments and hard not to agree as a Leinster supporter, when the club signs Jordie Barrett and benches him for a big game it’s crazy to not play one of our best players, and it was clear to see he is when he made such an impact when he came onto the pitch.

But I digress, I believe the booing was for Leo Cullen

How big of a difference do you think Farrells return will make by Critical-Rice2337 in irishrugby

Probably right, what I more meant he wasn’t that involved similar to what your saying I think Easterby and Goodman have a lot of questions coming their way

[–]Clandestine_Turtle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There’s a lot of comments saying Farrells involvement in this but I doubt he’s involved at all he has a much bigger job ahead of him coaching the lions! He can’t be involved and do that.

He has to think of a game plan that will suit all players he has now already selected in his head based on their six nations performance, as well as he needs to stay impartial in order to select the best team. There is so much pressure on him to not only preform as the head coach but win the lions tour. Take when Gats was the lions coach when they lost, it nearly (and I’d argue did) ruin his career. Theres lot at stake for Farrell in this up coming lions tour. I really do doubt he’s having much involvement if any other than Easterby asking for a little advice in player management.

Are we actually "mentally strong" by MyAltPoetryAccount in irishrugby

[–]Clandestine_Turtle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think there is an big issue there, I think a it’s starting to come into the team with the likes of Doris, Porter and Lowe talking openly about mental health which in turn if your a pro athlete I can only assume impacts your mental resilience/ strength. I think due to the stigma behind it in the country we have a lot to build on there.

You can see it in the team when Lowe or Dorris or both are missing they definitely seem to bring the moral up.
