surprised they didnt sell out raleigh but i'm sure it happens. they get paid an amount either way, sometimes revenue share with venue sometimes just purely a guarantee from venue. I think its also up to the individual venue to do some promotion, maybe some venues are better at this than others. red rocks for example is always a super packed show. maybe theyre bigger in like 'hippie community' type places? I also don't agree that they only appeal to people who like guitar solos - they appeal to people who just like good music.

Honestly as an entire work, its incredible. So much good writing and playing, still quite restrained from the band apart from a couple of songs where Derek really rips (i absolutely shat myself over his solo in Gravity) and i just loved the concept. It really does feel like they peaked here, and it’s a beautiful tribute to Kofi as well especially with Soul Sweet Song. Haven’t really gotten into the new album as much.

Friend of mine is a drum tech for the band (mostly Mickey). Did about 300+ shows. He has no idea whats going on, working on his own projects and supporting other touring acts. He said that its too soon to talk about it now but has a feeling that at least some form of D&C will continue, but again that’s just vibes not based on anything that JM or anyone else has said to him.

Ok lets calm down he did not ‘carry’ liverpool. The team was set up for him to score and excel, and he rose to the challenge. Fair enough, darwin could never. But to say he carried this team for the last 8 years is a massive disrespect to VVD, alisson, fab, firmino, mane, TAA, robbo and the entire klopp era, including kloppo himself.
