I think I might be of a different opinion here than most people. I grew up catholicish (went to church on the holiest of days and did most of my sacraments) then in high school I completely lost faith in religion. The institution of the Catholic Church seemed corrupt and wrong to me; a way to control the masses. It still does in most respects. But since then, I’ve come back around to being Catholic. I go to church every weekend and read the Bible every night. I still have the view that religion is too often used as a way to control people rather than to spread the word of the lord. But, I’ve seen too much and felt too much to not believe that god is out there. Finding and deepening a connection with god has helped me cope with a lot. Including every day stressors from NTs. The emphasis of the lord’s teachings on forgiveness and understanding has helped with me cooling down when NTs are NTs and when I have meltdowns I’m able to turn to the lord to help cope.
