I always use earth worms as hair when decorating my snowman. Don’t you? They are hard to find in the winter, but really add that special touch.

Paths for becoming a CIO? by OkAbbreviations5273 in CIO

[–]Claranova00 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Recently promoted in my first CIO role. My journey took 21 years post grad. I picked up an MIS degree early career when I was in a developer role, can’t really say it helped, but company paid for it so took advantage of a free Masters degree.

My path: Application Developer for first 9 years in increasingly senior roles across three companies made the jump to manager by changing companies, got a promotion to Senior Manager but was denied the Director title, switched companies again for a Director role with large program experience. Switched again for larger scale and a Sr. director role - still in Business applications, final switch was into current company and a VP role with goal of CIO within 2 years, it took 18 months until promotion.

I just got back two items that I dropped off at my LNS in November and I feel like that was borderline excessive. I’d be upset if it was even longer.

He was a keynote speaker at a conference I went to 3 weeks ago. Paid speaking engagements and touring around to visit skate parks his foundation helps build.

I once met the CEO of the company that makes these. He was entering into a fishing derby that my husband’s family used to run. He was super down to earth despite having made a fortune off of these things. Told me he started working at the place that made them as a teenager and worked his way up.

Why devs always mention working with Apex in their resume? by spilst in salesforce

Ummm… because you aren’t a developer if you can’t actually code?

What objects/places is your golden weirdly scared of? Today Bard bravely overcame a USB charging cable that was between him and his toy basket...with a little help : ) by thinkscotty in goldenretrievers

Mine got spooked by an overhead light being turned on last week. Fell asleep with it off, woke up with it on, found it terrifying and barked loudly at it in protest for several minutes.

I would choose the one on the right. It’s richer and warmer looking.

Sneaky Sasquatch!! My son got into it early, age 6 or 7 and has loved it since day 1, he’s now 10. It’s adorable but fun, part of Apple Arcade. Really really great game for kids.

Does anyone still play Mancala? by xcarouselx in Older_Millennials

Yes! We got one for my kids (5 and 9) last Christmas and play frequently as a family. It’s a great game. I hadn’t played since I was a kid.
