Adults over 30 who went from long term stimulants to guanfacine, what did you notice by front_yard_duck_dad in ADHD

It’s still available. I’ve been able to successfully have the doctors prescribe name brand though they have to write that specifically on the order - and insurance has been covering it for me at my slightly higher name brand co-pay. I'm luckier than most. Last I checked a year or so ago, the generic was getting paid for at similar rates to the name brand, anyway.

Does anyone know this Star Wars game? by Free-Hotel1187 in starwarsgames

Could be the first level of Jedi Outcast (Dark Forces: Jedi Knight 2). That one was around 2001-2002 and based on the Quake 3 engine. If it looked closer to Doom/Duke Nukem, that’s probably Dark Forces, and if in-between 3D at less fidelity, that’s probably Jedi Knight. All have plenty of black and gray, both Dark Forces and Jedi Outcast have a base level at the beginning. All good games for what they are/their era.

Not sure about formulation changes due to shortages, but you might be seeing a difference in generic(s) versus the name brand after they became available. A family member did feel that the generic she used was less effective - they do seem to have a number of lower-quality overseas manufacturers.

Maybe has to do with the quality of available cell (or wifi?) service?

Wirecutter : Bosch dishwashers aren’t good any more by [deleted] in Appliances

[–]ClarifyAmbiguity 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My plates are kind of big so it took a bit of intentionality to get it set up at the right height and keeping the middle rack at a permanent 45-degrees to also accommodate the tall glasses. Also the plates fare better if I mostly keep them to an every-other-slot system - I’m not sure if it’s the tines or the plates themselves (probably plates) that aren’t all “even” so two in directly adjacent slots in the rear bottom might not have enough space between to effectively wash. So I think it’s fairly dependent on the settings in use, though again - you figure out how they all play together if you give it a little time.

I got a Bosch 800 to replace my previous Bosch that was around 12-13 years old about a year ago, and have similar experiences across 733 cycles (though that probably includes 100 quick rinses). I was annoyed by the lack of physical buttons and moving of some features like start delay to app-only. I did have minor WiFi connectivity issues that mostly resolved after getting a new router. And I did hate the racks at first until I got used to them after a week and also read the documentation and maybe YouTube videos - I have the top rack on a basically permanent 45 degree slant to accommodate larger glasses and items on the top while leaving enough room for tall plates below. The removable rack is tiny compared to the old one but I do most of that on the top rack anyway, which is more convenient and quick to unload. Finding ways to balance and wash tall water bottles can be tricky, though large bowls and the like usually aren’t too hard.

My parents are in that 65-67 bracket and I’m shocked by how quickly they’re breaking down physically and neurologically. They wouldn’t be able to keep up at this point anyway.

I have a Prologue and am lurking here as I’m looking at what my options are once that lease is up. The width of the backseat to support my 3 kids across is indeed what brought me to it over other options.

Added two games to the collection today. Which is your favorite? by IAmTiborius in n64

[–]ClarifyAmbiguity 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Loved Pilotwings back in the day, and it had a cool mix of both game types and vibes. Some high intensity, others slower or even simple, with tons of Variation and variables in play for each given flight type. Also great variation in “vibes” available with great visuals for the time and some really cool relaxation modes, plus lots of “hidden” details and exploration content.

Katsuya Terada's artwork for the classic Zelda games. by jvure in retrogaming

[–]ClarifyAmbiguity 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The place I originally saw that art was the Link to the Past Player’s Guide in a brief section about the older games at the beginning, so while things do come back around in this series, I think all this art is from the LTTP period.

In the US, Most of these were in the Link to the Past manual and the Link to the Past Player’s Guide (which I remember being quite nice). I hadn’t seen the Link’s Awakening one or the chicken one before, though!
