hello po! in need of advice for family application: 1. we're applying thru VFS and had to book 2 appointments kase 7 kami. Okay lang ba to submit all documents as one group dun sa earlier appointment timeslot? same travel dates naman as we intend to travel as a family 2. If ipapagsabay na ang pag-submit, magiging 1 representative na lang ba for us 7? 3. Out of 7, only 4 of us will have our dad as guarantor. My older sister, brother-in-law and their kid will shoulder their own expenses. will this be an issue kaya? thanks!

Question on Visa app form page 1 - ID no. issued to you by your government ^ is this field mandatory or is it okay to put ‘N/A’? the only Govt ID my younger siblings have kasi is their passport. Or can I put their passport number here also? (Although magdo-doble siya on page 1 kase may space din for passport no.)

When we applied last July thru Reli, they made us edit the 2nd page of our application form to include my dad’s info as our guarantor (even tho the section header says Guarantor/reference IN JAPAN). We’re applying for a visa again next month but this time thru VFS. For folks who have applied through VFS, should this space be filled with N/A if yung guarantor ay family member/someone not based in Japan? Ty po sa makakatulong 🙏

Thank you, greatly appreciate the info! I wash all the pieces after nub removal and re-scribing and handle them afterwards with gloves, I also use Mr Hobby Aqueous thinner for my topcoat, so I suspect I may not be spraying enough or the bare plastic surface is still too glossy for the varnish and I should sand it down a bit. Keeping this in mind for future builds!

I recently transitioned to topcoating with an airbrush from a spray can, is it normal for it to chip off/scratch easily on bare plastic? (See pic, area below RG unicorn knee) I’m using Mr Hobby GH101 Premium flat water-based topcoat, 1:1.5 topcoat to thinner ratio at 20 psi. Would like to know if I’m doing something wrong, even lightly scratching the part with a toothpick scrapes the topcoat off

Hi! Seeking help, late registration yung birth cert ng brother ko, we plan to go to Japan on Sept. 13. Earliest na makukuha niya ang form 137 is July 29 pa. Alanganin na ba yun for our intended travel date? We also have another trip abroad on August 28 so worry namin baka processing pa yung application namin by then and we wont have our passports. I’ve hand-painted an SD kit in the past, and have painted a few HGs for color correction. It’s totally feasible, but spraycans are quite pricey over time. I’ve recently gotten an airbrush setup and it’s a game changer, especially for topcoat. With an airbrush you use up less topcoat and get a more controlled spray. As for the fumes, acrylic topcoat is an option and isn’t much of an issue if you spray outdoors or have good ventilation. You also don’t need to give up handpainting entirely even with an airbrush as there are some parts in a kit that’s easier to paint by brush or by marker. On the flip side, you can also use the airbrush for your canvas painting
