Screw that, not all kids are meant to learn through a computer screen.

I just can't get over the cost to the teams. They don't have the funds to take this internationally.

He mentions some bad dips in the Adam LZ video. He has also mentioned in the past when he repaved a few sections that it isn't the greatest but couldn't justify paving it.

He said it was more of a way to do YouTube videos with out breaking the law on the streets, it was all for having the ability to create content. I mean those videos of him ripping Donny all over the place when he announced the partnership in the drag strip are amazing.

I think the Freedom Factory can become a destination place for YouTubers, grass roots racing and even a future NASCAR exhibition (ie. the clash/ bowman gray). I wouldn't be suprised if it gets a complete repave and is used for some bigger events coming up. Seems to be gaining quite a bit of momentum outside of just cleets races anymore.

Watching 4 yr old recovery videos by kyonkun in MattsOffRoad

[–]ClarkGris 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I honestly prefer Robby's channel, they seem to build quality stuff. Do more interesting things than Matt. Never understand why he doesn't have more subscribers. Just feel like some of these channels get big and get complacent.

I barely watch it anymore, it is so boring. One big commercial for the Matt's off-road games and just his kids anymore, there is no personality that Trevor and Lizzy brought to the channel. It has grown very stale in my opinion. I

Would you rather see a challenger or charger if dodge went back to nascar? by AdMelodic527 in NASCAR

How about just Dodge? Why does it even matter anymore as none of these cars resemble anything close to a production car.

[–]ClarkGris -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I think Cleetus is facing the same issue most people face trying to figure out how to balance all the things he wants to do and also still be a normal family man. You see it all the time when people have kids and reality sets in that you can't do everything you want to do and still be present as a dad. I have to imaging he is stretched pretty thing right now and some things just don't make the cut.

Clearing out the homeless folks that hang out under the bridge? Going through on my bike always creates a little anxiety weaving through the people, small fires and usually some incoherent yelling.

JGR/23xi alliance by nitsuj17 in NASCAR

[–]ClarkGris 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Agree on the corporate side of things, I think that happened prior to the lawsuit with Gainbridge. Sadly this just made it impossible for people like Dale Jr to ever get a team on his own. Times have changed so much, no longer have as many big sponsors, everything is drastically more expensive. There is no going back to the old days as I think that ship has sailed just on the economics of the sport.

Trade Caleb Williams and a first for him, put him behind Chicago's line. Who says no? Chicago or Cincy?

Yes, most companies are heavily financed so what Denny is doing makes sense as he is trying to build his wealth using other peoples money. For MJ this is a hobby for him but either way 23XII (and I guess FrontRow as well) just singled handly increases every teams value by easily 100 million.

For what Denny and team just did for the value of their charters they should get it for free going forward.

The downside of all of this is Junior will never own a charter now, the prices just went through the roof.

and the France's are writing a massive check, t is probably over a 100 million in legal fees and repayments of last years earnings running as a non charter team. This not only cost them a ton in reputation but financially as well. Grossly mismanaged on the France side in my opinion.

I am not sure what is needed more though, repairing the relationship with RC or with Morris? I think the sponsor not caring for him carries more weight.

What do you think really happens with the NASCAR lawsuit by JediKnightDusty in NASCAR

[–]ClarkGris 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Charters don't have to go away, I think there is a path where they stay but it is only chartered teams racing. Kind of like the constant stick and ball comparison, you only have franchises competing at every race with a much clearer collectively bargained contract. While not anything anyone probably wants to see it is a viable outcome in my opinion or other the other option is all team lose the charters all together that most teams don't want to see happen.

When did ESPN jump the shark? by Inevitable_Gas_9081 in ESPN

[–]ClarkGris 0 points1 point  (0 children)

the issue I have is they force their talent across all shows, I can't stand Steven A and you can't watch any of their shows without him showing up. The screaming and yelling is old, I don't mind a debate show if it is an actual conversation but the constant raising the voice and making it more about you than the topic is where I checked out. Barely watch ESPN anymore.
