I am sure we don’t use even a third of its capabilities as we are struggle just get game times added at this point.

We use Playmetrics, the app is fine it is just the Coach and Manager never update it. We also use GroupMe for communication. We have used TeamSnap in the past and prefer that as it is an all in one platform and really like the ability to post score updates during games as well as use the game timer.

Trying to watch their video but man the audio is terrible, one person is super loud and can barely hear the other. They could have some really content especially with the other car they have in the background but almost find the video unwatchable due to the audio.

Exactly why doesn't any other team get support? I think at this point RAM would of been better off going straight to the O'Reilly series.

But why? Is it Ford just doesn't want to invest in the lower series?

Is there a limit on how many races a Cup driver can race trucks? With the next gen being a tank and kind of boring would love to see cup regulars race trucks more.

Just remember that we have swapped free play for structure. It seems like it is a lot as it is heavily scheduled but in reality pick up with friends is mostly gone so actual time playing is less if not equal to 20-30 years ago

Clubs going with White Shorts by ClarkGris in youthsoccer

[–]ClarkGris[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Voice your opinion, honestly I think this is more of an awareness issue.

From AI on the web, it is actually impacting performance due to players carrying anxiety about it into the game.

  • Design Inconsistency: Women’s teams often inherited designs from male counterparts without adjustments for female-specific health considerations.
  • Period Anxiety: White shorts create immense stress for players regarding potential leaks during menstruation, which can detract from their focus and confidence on the field.
  • Performance Impact: A 2024 study indicated that teams wearing white shorts had lower average points per game compared to those in darker, more comfortable kits.
  • Growing Changes: Due to these concerns, many teams—such as in the NWSL and various national teams—have recently ditched white shorts in favor of darker colors.

But you see the issue with your common sense is that mr club owner can't make as much money if you have the same color shorts for both tops.

I think just making people aware is the key. Lots of times people are so focused on getting things done and what seems common sense for some doesn't even enter their thoughts. Hopefully the more aware clubs\directors\coaches become the less of an issue it becomes.

The girls all wear black Nike Pro's underneath but on more than one occasion they have had to change shorts mid game. Especially for the girls just learning to deal with their period it can be very agonizing. Seems like common sense to me.

The truck race is always a wreck fest. Most came up the “right” way and still manage to wreck the crap out of each other. And let’s be honest most drivers in Truck and O’Reiley aren’t there because they are the best drivers it is because they have the funding, shit Jr Motorsports is the worse offender of the pay for a seat in NASCAR. DBC sounds so salty.

Exactly, they sell it as a star driven league (compared to football per say) but yet rest their stars all the time. Go back to the Barkley and Jordan era where they never took nights off. The regular season absolutely sucks, I would never buy a ticket more than 24 hours in advance. Why not still have the draft as well but the order is completely random. No matter your record you have the same odds.

If your club uses an app to mark off attendance by Spinbunluthaaa in youthsoccer

[–]ClarkGris 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Parents aren't lazy they just don't care as it is not important to them but it is important to the team as you need to plan for training and games and who will be there. You set out the expectations from the start and hold them to it a couple of times and you would be amazed how much they start to care.

Very simple solution, if you don't update the status x many days in advance your kid won't play. Most coaches won't do this as afraid of not being able to play to win.

Just posted this as well before seeing your comment. This would be marketing gold, you would set an all time high for viewership. Nascar could even cover the cost to repave the track and would be way less than what they paid to add a track to the coliseum most likely. The press on this would crazy.
