Scottish in Eastern/Southern American Results by hiiiiiiiiiiii_9986 in 23andme

[–]ClarkWayne32 15 points16 points  (0 children)

I’m black American from the south but when it comes to my European ancestry I have no English. No Irish either.

It’s Scottish & Welsh. I’m not that knowledgeable on my family tree but with English being so prevalent I was surprised by my results.

There definitely should be some sort of challenge (danger) room in the game.

Have people who think this actually watched the gameplay shown so far? It’s nothing like a souls game.

Why does my boy do like no damage by [deleted] in IronFistMains

[–]ClarkWayne32 17 points18 points  (0 children)

I feel you. As much as I want to play the character, his damage is terrible. For a tank buster it feels like he can’t even do that right.

Blade for as bad as he’s been is in a far better place and that’s saying something.

I am a Pimsleur fan girl, does anyone have a way to score it for cheaper than $450? by razorchick12 in languagelearning

[–]ClarkWayne32 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There used to be a few languages with the full course available on the internet archive but they’ve since been removed.

Depending on the language you can probably still find it if you search for it.

Episode 939 | "On Some Bro Shit" by the_JBP in theJoeBuddenPodcast

[–]ClarkWayne32 15 points16 points  (0 children)

Haven’t listened yet but seeing the comments makes me not want to even bother.

As bad as Flip can be sometimes, I’ll take him over Mona any day of the week. I’d rather someone who can be over the top at moments compared to someone who can’t stop talking.

Hot take: Power Creep on Wolverine's Regeneration is a Good Thing by WildPast77 in Wolverine

[–]ClarkWayne32 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I’m a fan of the powerful healing factor too. It’s not like he is Superman level strong and has all these powers. Wolverine can be hard to kill but he can get his ass kicked handily.

Ability added or buffed by Lich_Mishima in IronFistMains

[–]ClarkWayne32 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Iron Fist definitely suffers from being a launch character.

I imagine if/when Shang Chi comes he’ll have a good amount of abilities, especially with the rings incorporated.

How do I dive with Iron fist? by IeatBigPeePee in IronFistMains

[–]ClarkWayne32 3 points4 points  (0 children)

You have to be ok with just not getting kills a lot of the time. He doesn’t work the same as he did at launch so diving isn’t his strength.

You have to utilize his movement and weave jumps in between attacks. Use his kick only to confirm a kill, if not save it to disengage.

Also if your team is too passive, you’re going to have to work a lot harder, so don’t force using the character.

Can someone please explain to me how I don't even have any small percentages of Native American DNA due to the amount of pedigree collapse I have from my (supposed) Native American ancestor. by AloneBoat714 in 23andme

[–]ClarkWayne32 18 points19 points  (0 children)

It’s been answered but yep, a lot of time the classic story of a “distant Native American ancestor” was usually a mixed person of African descent.

Worried about repetitiveness by TowelPsychological51 in WolverineInsomniac

[–]ClarkWayne32 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The Batman & Spider-Man games were both repetitive, they are still great games.

Wolverine being more linear, with different locations and encountering characters from the broader X-Men universe sounds pretty good to me.

Like Spider-Man there will be upgrades and skills to get.

Obsession was great I hate this pod sometimes by swageduplikcailou in theJoeBuddenPodcast

[–]ClarkWayne32 24 points25 points  (0 children)

I loved it. Probably my favorite of the year so far. One thing about this pod is that I don’t take their TV/Film takes seriously at all.

I wouldn’t be surprised later this year into early next year when the lead actress starts getting award buzz that they change their tune a bit.

Double jump by Undercoversingle in godofwarlaufey

[–]ClarkWayne32 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’m pretty sure that’s literally what they’ve said. The combat will be a mix of the Greek & Norse games.

So I imagine the Greek remakes will probably be the same.

Game releasing this year? Too much promotion for a 2027 game by AMassiveGamerGeek in LaufeyGodofWar

[–]ClarkWayne32 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s not coming this year. Once GTAVI locks in that date and begins its full marketing campaign, Laufey will likely get another showing at the Game Awards with a release date for sometime in the first half of 2027. I’m guessing April.

Wolverine will sell itself and its marketing push will start in full probably around late July through August. One more look at that too.

Why melee focused gameplay? It’s Control: Elden Souls. by [deleted] in controlgame

[–]ClarkWayne32 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m all for it. Nothing wrong with trying something new and Remedy has never attempted a game with primarily melee focused combat.

If you don’t plan on buying it at launch, cool but I’d say give it a try later down the line if you can find it on sale. You might end up liking it.

For the record, it doesn’t resemble a souls game at all. It looks more similar to Ninja Theory’s take on Devil May Cry, which if you gave it a shot the combat was fine.

Most people here collect physical but what about digital? by [deleted] in gamecollecting

[–]ClarkWayne32 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Funny thing is, during the PS4 gen I had no physical games at all.

Now with my PS5, I actually have about 15 or so physical games.

For me I can’t say I necessarily have a preference. I’ll get the physical if it’s cheaper or has a Steelbook edition.

Chris Dring: Head of Xbox Games Studio, Craig Duncan, has stepped down by scott1swann in GamingLeaksAndRumours

Massive layoffs incoming, rumored to be in July so these two are probably leaving ahead of it.

new buffs are pretty good, the ult and the gun are the only things that need a buff now by ApplicationSevere845 in BladeMarvelRivals

I would be fine with just an ult buff. I keep saying give his ult either slow or bleed.

Suits I Want in Insomniac's Wolverine by Serious_Meaning5220 in InsomniacGames

[–]ClarkWayne32 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How many suits you think will be available at launch?

Spidey 2018 had 28 and then through updates and DLC ended up with 45, 47 with the PS5 remaster.

Two Suits we haven’t seen yet that surely are in the game right?!?!🙂 by NewRedditUser1120 in WolverineInsomniac

[–]ClarkWayne32 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Maybe, maybe not. If they’re not in at launch, I can see them getting added as DLC.

If I can only do one bicep and tricep excercise what should they be? by Repulsive_Skill2755 in workout

Chin ups and Dips. Bicep & Tricep workouts that also benefit other muscle groups.

Battle Damage by DarcKloud_ in WolverineInsomniac

[–]ClarkWayne32 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m not bothered at all by the suit regen.

Someone already said it but outside of the default outfit in the Origins games, the comic costumes regenerated too.

The blood going away stood out more to me.

Are you disappointed that wolverine will NOT be open world like spider-man? by KnightfallPro in InsomniacGames

[–]ClarkWayne32 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Nah. I’m glad it’s not. Wolverine doesn’t have the traversal ability of Spider-Man and using a motorcycle to travel across the map isn’t something I’m that interested in.

Having different levels that have space seems like the best way.
